At Heart Ctr SGH.

It is one of the best vegetarians, I have eaten in a long time. I ordered fish soup, a fragrant milky wine broth, rice vermicelli noodles, faked fish tofu, sour cabbage, olive fried rice and made sure to ask for their brown rice with the soup. And the Hokkien mee. tasted just like many famous Hokkien mee in Queenstown or Tiong Bahru. Their style is soupy and wet, it tasted like real sotong prawn mee. We need to find out if the chef used a charcoal frying wok. Their fried rice is usually as good as those we have in Thailand

Pros: x, x, x

Cons: x, x, x

They have both economic & “zi char”(after 2pm) only.

Vegetarian oasis in meaty foodcourt

So cheap! So delicious! Please note that it is in the basement level, so you have to go down the escalator and then look for the stall that says “vegetarian”. The actual “compassion” name is not clearly visible.

Cheap

I had the vegetarian bee hoon which costs 3SP$. The food tasted very good considering its price. Definitely recommended.

Pros: Very cheap

heavin

Be warned come here at lunch time a d expect to get takeaway. In all fairness plenty of grass outside to sit on.
This hawkers centre is right in the CBD and it's absolutely heavin at lunch time.
We opted for take out and got some noodles dish and rice dish.
A bargain 10sgd for three portions and the food was nice enough. Nothing special but ideal for lunch.
Witlrth a visit but aim for a late lunch at 2.

Pros: choice, price

Cons: heavin

For a good bowl of vegetarian soupy noodle …

Needed a soupy noodle fix! I was delighted that Vegetarian Cuisine @ NTUC Foodfare located in Clifford Centre (Raffles Place), serves Mee Tai Mak with Vegetarian Fish Ball @ S$4.5 on Thursday, besides the normal economical rice.

Mee Tai Mak paired well with bean sprout and lettuce. I’m glad the Bean sprout in this noodle is fresh and crunchy. Mee Tai Mak is rather unique in this part of the world and it reminds me of a rare dish which I had in Malaysia as a child - Claypot Crabmeat Mee Tai Mak and the gravy in it was rather similar to light-coloured Hor Fun gravy, which I yet to find it on the menu of any vegetarian eateries.

For healthy diner, just order one serving of vegetable dish. This stall has a long queue and I guess for a good reason ….

Cheap, healthy, tasty

Located in a nice and ventilated food court. Early Monday afternoon choice was very limited. After naming three dishes that were not available I just told ordered "mock meat, vegetables and rice". They arrived five minutes later piping hot in a yummy sauce and I paid 5 SGD for it. The dish was actually really good, not too salty or oily. Staff is friendly as well.

Pros: healthy , tasty, friendly

Cons: few dishes available

Worth checking out

Myself and my wife decided to order from the vegetarian cuisine counter after first checking with staff that the food was vegan. There was plenty of choice and we ordered the bee hoon and 2 mock meat and veg options. We chose nearly all the mock meats between us including seitan, chicken/chicken skin cracker and nori, which were tasty along with the sauces they came with. Unfortunately some of the veg and noodles were a little cold and thinking back we should have took that dish back. The food although not brilliant was nice though and only cost about 8 Singapore dollars in total. Other choices included seafood and veg soup and steak option, which looked delicious, as well an Indian cuisine counter. Well worth a visit if you want something quick and cheap.

Pros: Lots of vegan choice, Very cheap

Cons: Some of the veg a little cold, Can get busy but I guess thats a good thing too!

Delicious food, good value.

It's located inside the Clifford Center (24 Raffles Place), in a big eatery, as a one of many small stalls (there's another one vegetarian stall, with an Indian food, but it is only vegetarian, not vegan). Only few choices, but for a great value. Definitely not expansive for the center of Singapore! Very tasty food, big portions. Very friendly staff. No plastic dishes/cutlery, so environmentally-friendly, too. ;) Recommended!

Pros: Tasty food, all vegan, Great value for Singapore, Nice staff
