We were absolutely astonished. Each course surprised us with outrageously good flavors. Fabulous atmosphere. My husband and I kept looking at each other in disbelief as I am not a huge fan of Italian food but I am a vegan and wow the salad was the best I have ever had. The mushroom pasta was sublime and the lemon olive oil cake was the best dessert I have ever had anywhere.

Excellent chunk steak and pizza - Edit
Went twice on a recent trip to NYC. Excellent chunk steak. Margherita pizza was very good, especially the crust. Tried pepperoni pizza next time - not as good. Crust was still great, but the mock pepperoni not so tasty. Puttanesca meatballs were amazing as an appetizer. Overall, great experience both times.

Nov. 2025: Finally got to come back three years later and had an amazing meal of steak tartare, fig pizza, ragu, tiramisu, and olive oil cake.

Also loved the strawberry pana cotta for dessert. On a Saturday night, were seated in the back smooshed between two other tables of people and could barely hear each other speak it was so loud.

This place has it all- highly recommend for a celebratory meal. It’s 100% vegan. Love the calamari, eggplant lasagna, and the hot honey pizza. I don’t love fake meats but the rest of my group really enjoyed the Chunk steak entree and mashed potatoes.

Italian is not my favorite cuisine but partner loves it, so we decided to give this place a try. The pork fennel arancini were very good—So good that I’ll probably never order them anywhere else because I’ll always be sad that they’re not as good as these. My partner enjoyed the truffle mushroom pizza, and I liked the salmon risotto. It was very reminiscent of actual salmon. Overall, the food was very good, but we’re typically more interested in creative plant-forward cuisine rather than traditional dishes, so we probably won’t be back for a while.

I’ve been to Coletta many times! Great ambience. While the vegan pizza is still a classic (especially the Wild Mushroom Truffle), the quality of the main cheese used seems to have changed over the years. But the vegan ricotta still is unparalleled. The vegan pizza is fantastic!

Great restaurant!! We started with the cheeseboard, which was not only visually appealing, everything on the board was amazing. Also had the house salad, which was simple, but very tasty. For entrees, I had the Campanelle al Tartufo, and my husband had the Tagliatelle al’ Ragu. Both were delicious. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu, which was very rich. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite!!

I highly recommend this place! I wish we had time to try the pizzas, as they looked fantastic, but that will have to wait until next time we are in NYC!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We ordered the meatballs for an app, mocktails, the steak and sausage ravioli for entrees and shared the tiramisu for dessert. Everything couldn’t have been better. It was the most delicious meal I’ve had in a long time!

Exceptional service, great cheese & fig - Edit
I almost ordered delivery, but I'm so glad I went there instead because the service was exceptional! The cultured cheese board is amazing. All of the cheeses taste perfect, and the fig is beautiful. You get both fresh fig and fig jam.
Read moreThe hot honey pizza is my favorite pizza I've had. The Sicilian olive oil cake is really good too, not too sweet and the texture of the cake and cream are very nice.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant with several delicious dishes. I loved the meatballs and the garlic knots. My partner loved the vegan steak. The olive oil cake was very good and not too sweet (I like desserts this way!). The pasta we got was nice, but I wouldn’t get it again, as the flavors weren’t for me.

Words fail me - Edit
This was one of the greatest meals I’ve had in my life. The flavors brought me to an altered state of consciousness. Got the cheese board which alone is worth the visit, along with the salmon and the sausage ravioli, and tiramisu to finish. The risotto was complex and balanced, the salmon tasted like salmon with a perfect crust, the ravioli was smokey and creamy. I plan to return as many times as it takes to try the entire menu
