My pasta with this 3D fillet was incredibly good. The waitress was of utmost friendliness and it's a warm and comfy atmosphere. They open the kitchen at 5pm again and while waiting for my early diner I enjoyed a decaf oatmilk cappuccino.

All-you-can-eat-buffet in the afternoon with a bunch of super fine meals - boef bourguignon, truffle pasta, "korv stroganoff", tikka masala and several salads. It tasted very amazing and made a very very splendid impression!

Multiple times as I ate I exclaimed “wow, this is good”. I said this about the daal, chickpeas, corn, and a mysterious hummus thing. I guess this means I liked it right. I went back multiple times for the greatest hits as I liked it so much.
Read moreI am wondering if it is a cultural thing, as I have never really had buffet meals so the whole “unlimited refills” thing felt like a novelty. It was like I was at a work conference. Maybe if I had buffets more often I would feel different.

Definitely put this on your list when visiting Stokholm. They have a great selection in the bistro version of the restaurant, but if you get to order from the menu, be sure to try their signature dish - 3D stake, you shall not be disappointed.

Introducing vegan food - Edit
Went there to try the vegan steak but as they only offer a la carte in the evenings, I had the lunch buffet instead. Buffet was really good, I recommend it for people who are getting to know vegan options or craving for meat substitutes. For my taste it was even a bit too meat-like (patatas bravas with sausage, pasta bolognese and caesar salad with meat substitutes). As said in other reviews, a great place for introducing vegan food!

The best vegan food we found in Stockholm! We had dinner one night (fish and chips, meatballs and 'steak' that was so realistic it freaked my husband out a bit!), and came back a couple of days later for the buffet lunch. Everything was incredible, staff were lovely and the restaurant itself is a beautiful place to be. 11/10!

This Would Fool Non-Vegans - Edit
We visited ChouChou for dinner and were not disappointed. The flavors were rich and spot-on and this food could easily fool carnivores., The Jerusalem artichoke soup, which came with garlic bread, was well-flavored, thick, and creamy. The Swedish meatballs with gravy, mashed potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and pressed cucumber were exactly like a good non-vegan version. I had a half portion and that was enough. My friend had the burger and fries, which he enjoyed. My only wish was for more vegetables, but no complaints about the food.

This has to be the best vegan meal I had in stockholm. the vegan meatballs were incredible, so fresh and flavourful. The staff were especially friendly and the atmosphere was great! Lovely vegan wine too. An absolute must visit when in Stockholm!

The Food is impressive. The meatballs and burger are one of best I had so far. The stuff is very friendly. The only „negative“ aspect is the location. It’s fine but not really as cozy as we expected. Don‘t get it twisted its fine but not like „fine dining“ atmosphere.

I only tried the buffet, it had 3 spreads, 3 salads and hot dishes. I went two different times and the hot dishes were different each time, except for the side dishes which were potatoes and rice with vegetables, although both were very tasty.

Kind of ended up here by accident, luckily so! Earlier that day I wanted meatballs, but the queues at "Meatballs for the people" were too long, so we skipped that, only to later pass by at this place, after a quick look at Happycow we went upstairs. I had the meatballs (with all the required trimmings), girl had the steak, also great, with some of the best fries we ever tasted. Fried ice-cream was great too. Had a nice chat with the chef as well, friendly staff in general.

A little poor menu with high prices, but it doesn’t change the fact that food is good, same for service and atmosphere. You kinda pay more for a restaurant experience than the food I think. Also worth mentioning is that the food quality is very good (first Swedish cranberries that I could eat) and filling, even though I was afraid I will get hungry soon 😅
