Hippie Habchi is gone, but at least new spot still caters to vegans - Edit
It had been a while but I didn’t realize Hippie Hibachi had closed down.
It made me sad (their shrimp was the best!!!) but I liked the fact that the new owners still kept the vegan options. I decided to try it out since I loved HH
All in all, it’s okay. I really liked that they kept a separate vegan grill and ingredients. The tofu was a hair undercooked for my liking but that was fine compared to the burnt pieces I’d find at HH.
My only complaint was that it was really oily. Like, I ordered veggies to enjoy the next day and the oil had congealed. The food was also a bit on the pricey side, but what isn’t nowadays lol With that being said, if I’m in the area, I would return but ask for light oil.
