We decided to try this place out instead of going to the Vegan fair. I'm sure glad we did. We ordered a couple Asada tacos, and two burritos. These burritos are huge. They remind me of Cali Tacos. You could easily give these to a non Vegan and they wouldn't know the difference. We both loved the tacos too. Our tummies were happy when we left. Everything on the menu looked so good, we can't wait to come back. I noticed they have a loyalty program so we'll sign up for that next time.

Best fully vegan place in Fullerton - Edit
Great food! Great service! The Beyond burgers are so so good, any flavor! The jackfruit tacos are the best I have had -- even better than my own, and mine are amazing. If you are lucky enough to order when they have the tres leche cake, DO NOT PASS ON IT. It isn't available all the time, and it's incredible. Also they carry a variety of candies from other manufacturers.
Read moreThe store is clean and neat, and there is a sweet patio in back accessed via the nearby alleyway. My only complaint is it isn't accessible through the store (ingress or egress) except by employees.

Upon entry, vegan vibes hit you in the FACE! I came on a Taco Tuesday afternoon, recommend the asada tacos with just the cilantro as I’m not a fan of onion or salsa. Also the desserts/sweets!
Read moreI would have eaten inside, but it was a tad crowded for my liking- after leaving I saw they had a patio, what?! I’ll have to come back! I enjoyed my meal, picnic style (in my trunk) and it was so yummy; even got to enjoy the breeze.
Major shout out for the cleanliness of the establishment restrooms and front area, ALSO for playing Lighter Shade of Brown!

Unique flavors of drinks! I got tamarind, but that was a difficult choice with all the others available
Edit: visited again, on a Tuesday. Tried three different tacos; carnitas, Al Pastor, and asada. Honestly, all three were delicious and I would be more than happy to eat them all again! Al pastor was my favorite

Read moreThe food is great, too! They have tacos, burritos, burgers, nachos and fries loaded with toppings, pretty much all of the SoCal-style junk food you will ever want. I love the Cali-Bae Rito, which has an ideal ratio of fries to the other stuff. There are some Mexican desserts, too. The Tres Leches cake is super yummy - milky and not too sweet.

Tried the cali burrito and bool golgi fries, both were delicious. They really hit the spot if you're looking for that Socal mexican flavor, perhaps w a bit of Korean fusion.

They also have a great atmosphere, with fun mexican style drinks and treats. Good spot for a quick stop on a date night.

Essential Vegan SoCal Restaurant - Edit
The El Classico burrito is one of the best burritos I've ever had. Chicana Vegana has a decent variety of burgers, tacos, and burritos, and it seems they just keep improving and adding more great options to their menu (such as sopes and mac & cheese). I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. It's in a very nice area in Downtown Fullerton, too, with lots of cute local shops within walking distance.
