Great Vegan Mexican Food - Edit
I have been going here for years and I love their food. They have great philly sandwhiches and the tacos are incredible. The chefs they have are amazing and the vibe in the restaruant is very vibrant and fun even if it is a bit small. The customer service is always friendly and very amicable. There food does take a couple minutes to come out, but it is not longer than a sit down restaruant. They are a bit pricey too, but it is not bad in comparison to other vegan restaruants and their food is worth the cost. Overall, I am very happy with this restaruant and would recommend to anyone who is or is not vegan. I have had friends who are not vegan or vegetarian go there and love the food too. Its a great place to go and I hope more people get a chance to try try their food.

Hot spot for sure with lots of foot traffic. Small chairs in front, limited seating inside, patio in the rear. The food was some of the best Mexican I’ve had with generous portions AND beautiful presentation. Friend had a hefty Burrito Mojado (red, wet burrito) with asada and I had Loaded Nachos with Al Pastor. They offered Aguas frescas, booch, and imported Coke. Can’t believe I didn’t make it out this way sooner to try, can’t wait to go back. Also, the vegan superhero mascot and pictures all over are cute af!

I really enjoyed my visit to this place. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was excellent. Finding great vegan food can be very hard to do but I am definitely glad I popped in for a visit.

I ordered the Cali Dreamin burger and upgraded my fries to be chili cheese. This burger was so amazing! You get to choose between Impossible or Beyond and I got impossible. I wasn’t disappointed and commuted from LA just to try this! I cannot wait to go back and I definitely told all my vegan friends!! Food was so delicious, I didn’t even take photos! I smashed my food!

It was really delicious, I loved the interesting flavors in the Mexigogi “meat” on the fries. I was confused by the cucumber on the menu but it really turned out amazing. Almost like an Asian Mexican fusion thing with the sauce. Would definitely go back!

Best vegan Mexican food in OC - Edit
I’ve tried so many vegan Mexican food spots and I can say this place is by far the best in OC. Our favorites are the chili cheese fries, asada tacos, and tres leches cake. Their spicy salsa is next level 🥵🔥.

The Whole Vibe - Edit
Every once in a while, you find one of those restaurants where you want to eat through the whole menu. You know, keep coming back and trying something else each time until you’ve tasted everything on the menu. Chicana Vegana is one of those places for me. Everything on their menu sounds so delicious. I tried a few things today, and I will be back soon to try more! Plus, the ambiance was perfect. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Most importantly, they had great music playing the whole time. It was a whole vibe!

Wow! Just wow! The burger I got was just incredible, it was so juicy and tasty. I wasn’t expecting it as this is a Mexican establishment but those burgers… I can’t wait to go back! They are plant-based for the animals and they are chicane-owned! A great place to support with amazing food.

Pre-pandemmy we used to get Chicana eats from their food truck at random vegan fairs and pop-ups, and their nachos were the nachos of my dreams!

Also highly recommended are their asada fries and chili cheese fries, which you can customize to add toppings. My latest trick is to order nachos with a side of fries so I can have the best of both worlds.
They have a variety of housemade proteins that are all fantastic so if you can, try them all and find your favorite.
Parking in Fullerton is a bit difficult some nights and weekends, but there’s a lot behind them that is free during weekdays and therefore ideal for lunchtime. They also have a little outdoor patio behind them if the inside is too busy for you.
Also recommend ordering ahead on their website so you can see photos and customization options!

Wasn’t planning on it but stopped in After buying a few plants at Green Place. Had the Cali Baerito with Carne - with the hot sauce . They lack the burrito with French fries and the hot sauce has some kick . Good eating!
