Decent place, great location - Edit
This store is pretty good. We popped in a few times for different things over the course of our stay and we were quite happy with what we got. Most grab-and-go items seemed to be vegan as well. We tried several kinds of bread, muffins, sandwiches, etc and they were all tasty. They also have a café downstairs with free wifi, which is very convenient especially for tourists like us. Selection can be hit or miss depending on what you are looking for. For example, I wanted some quality chocolate but all they had were generic brands.

First stop in Lisbon - Edit
Lisbon may sometimes be tricky for vegans, therefore I can only recommend this place to buy your groceries when you arrive or if you're staying in an apartment or if you need snacks etc. They offer a wide range of products, local vegetables, cereal bars, plant milks... I tried their tofu and mushroom burgers and really enjoyed them (they're local too). Only a short walking distance from the train station.

Mixed feelings - Edit
Honestly, I'm very underwhelmed by this place BUT it's really the only veggie market(s) in Lisbon so I can't hate too much. They have a good selection of faux-meats, some soy/veg cheeses, and many other bio/veg options. My problem is mostly with their cold case with pre-made sandwiches/tapas/etc. Boy oh boy are they TERRIBLE. ALL OF THEM! I tried 5 different items and each one was flavorless, doughy, and had strange textures. I mean, truly disappointing. Additionally, their small selection of produce is super hit or miss. One item will be perfect while the next is literally several days passed spoil. In all fairness, at least half of the tiny, cramped store is geared towards health items/vitamins/holistic healing so maybe the aim is towards that with the market as an afterthought. Anyway, I was thankful to have the market for some snacks as veggie food is Lisbon is a bit harder to come by than other EU cities buuut they have some improvements to make! A bigger store would be nice too.

ultimate health food store - Edit
What a place, this is just a superstore full of vegan and veggie goodies packed to the brim. There's even a cafe downstairs. The range of products is phenomenal such as deli, vegan cheeses, mock meats, chocolate, toiletries and household goods. Right in the centre if town and hard to miss in the way up to B. Alto

Shop fine/food average - Edit
The shop really has a wide selection of organic goods and many of them actually from Germany. The restaurant offers very basic meals from a buffet you can choose from. It fills your stomach if you have no other vegetarian place around but not much more.

Good selection of vegan food - Edit
We did not have lunch there, just bought some stuff in the supermarket. They have a very good selection of vegan food, including chocoloates and muesli bars.
Read moreWhat I found a little strange was the constant observation. They had several employees which would always stare at you and follow you to make sure you don't steal anything. I'm sure this is a huge problem there (otherwise I can't image why they would do that) but it did not exactly make a good shopping experience.
Pros: good vegan choice

For mind and body. - Edit
This particular store has the lot. When I visited earlier this year the refrigerated section was stocked with a lot of seitan of varying sizes, and there was a lot of soya milk as well - for breakfast. In another corner there was an area for baked snacks/pasties (lunch). Elsewhere in the store dairy-free yoghurt. Along one of the aisles they have some Italian vegan ice cream, and the Asian section is surprisingly good. Although not for me, there's a beauty/toiletries' aisle as well. Oh yes, they also stock vitamin supplements.

Good place for a quick lunch - Edit
Buffet-like with many options to choose from. One of the cheapest in town. Quick service and many tables that are usually full of costumers. It's a place where people go for lunch during the week, not a restaurant for special occasions.

the best - Edit
this is one of the best shops and they are getting more and more, some of them sell food and have a little canteen for you to eat, but in the shop you can find everything you need but if you know the names you also can look in the regular supermarkets and you will find the same and sometimes a little bit cheaper.

Perfect little store - Edit
While in Portugal, this store was a perfect little location to find all sort of vegan products. It had a vast number of alternatives, as well as heathy snacks. I even found brands I am used in the US such as soyatoo whipping cream, Yum!
