Elegant fish-centered place - Edit

This is an elegant, pricey restaurant. We came here for lunch. Note that the entrance is on 13th Street, and you need to take an elevator to the venue. The restaurant setting is quite refined, and the wait staff is quite attentive.

For lunch, there were only a few vegan choices. I had a warm grain bowl and a green juice--both were quite good (though not inexpensive). They had a few vegetarian items that "could be made vegan"--but that essentially entailed them leaving off an item but charging you full price, so that didn't impress me. (I think they might have more options for dinner.)

The main plusses for this place for vegans seem to be: (1) there's not a lot else in the meatpacking district, so the other choices in this area are slim; and (2) since Catch does have some clearly marked vegan items, it is a convenient place to go with omnis. Unfortunately, my omni friends all had complaints about their food (which included meat, fish, and eggs), which they found just okay--so this essentially meant that my accommodating omni friends by going to this vegan-friendly place didn't quite pay off as I had hoped.

Impressive vegan options! - Edit

Only a few vegan options but both I tried were very very good! The mushroom spaghetti made vegan is amazing, and I absolutely loved the vegan cheesecake. Pricy, but classy inside, they do takeout and delivery as well. #Veganuary

Fantastic brunch experience 🌱 - Edit

It is a joy to go to see multiple vegan options on a menu. I tried the warm grain salad with winter greens, quinoa, farro, Israeli couscous, roasted sweet potato, delicata squash and watermelon radish, as well as the avocado toast. Absolutely delicious! The service is excellent.

Super yummy food. Mushroom Spaghetti was great. They even had vegan cheesecake!

Fun atmosphere with lots of great vegan options & separate vegan menu - Edit

Great restaurant for date night or a night out on the town with your omni friends. Or even just vegan friends. They have lots of vegan options and the staff are very knowledgeable about what’s vegan. Clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The vegan Caesar salad and heart of palm “crab” cakes are amazing.
