It's hard to evaluate a brazilian carrot cake because there isn't much you can do with it. It's a basic cake, and it's a classic. I'm giving them some credit because it tasted just like your average carrot cake and the vegan ones I've tried so far were a below average. The cake had structure and wasn't crumbling like some vegan cakes do, and it was carroty! The proportion of cake to sauce was good.
Read moreThe ciabatta had a crunchy crust and a nice crumb. The filling tasted fresh... but it's missing something... another layer of flavour... some "wow" factor... maybe some creaminess or umami could help... but it's not bad. 7/10
The price is not cheap... Even a bottle of water cost me R$6... but what can I say... food is expensive everywhere... eating is a luxury in this country.
Wish they had more vegan options... and some novelty... ciabatta with pesto and carrot cake are options I see in every other café.... and yesterday I saw a vegan shake just like theirs at another café's menu... same ingredients.... it feels lazy.
Pros: Good place if you want food in your stomach
Cons: Bad place if you are expecting more than that
