Tasty cakes

Not a lot vegan options but delicious. More vegan cakes always available on Saturday. So if you have a sweet tooth they are very tasty. A bit pricey

Pros: Outside space

Cons: Expensive

Afternoon tea

We were gifted a vegan afternoon tea so unsure of the price but it was truly fantastic. Highlights were the raspberry macaron and the vegan take on the classic french Mont Blanc. I would highly recommend for a treat/celebration.

Pros: Fantastic afternoon tea, Choice of 3 non dairy milks

Cons: Not many other vegan options

Overpriced and Very Limited Vegan Options

Cake Boy is a swanky new place by the Thames. It has indoor and outdoor seating. There's free parking in an apartment building for 30 minutes if you're not stopping long.

There wasn't much choice for vegans. Just the one cake at £6.10 for a slice. That's £6.10 for a slice. Or it's £40 for vegan afternoon tea. Hmmmm. The vegan options I've seen at other cake places I've been to have been really popular so I think they're missing out on a big section of the market; especially the pretentious, loaded clientele they're targeting. Maybe I'm being unfair; I'm sure their overheads are expensive.

It all looked nice so if expensive cakes are your thing then this is the place for you. It wasn't for me.

Cons: Expensive, Very limited choice for vegans
