The café in Südpark is run by the Workshops for Adapted Work, where people with and without disabilities work together. The adjacent farm shop sells various products, including some takeaway cake — today, the only vegan option was a Schweineohr (palmier).
Read moreThe spacious café offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, very fast service, and a menu with a few clearly labelled vegan options, such as pasta Bolognese, the “Rheinhilde” breakfast, several salads, oat milk for hot drinks, and a rotating selection of cakes. Today’s vegan choices included an apple crumble and a chocolate muffin.
Not a culinary highlight, but it’s nice to have options if you’re spending time in the park, visiting with family or kids, or heading to the mini golf course next door.
