I had a lovely large healthy breakfast bowl, with fruit, mashed banana with coconut milk and a coconut milk coffee latte. A trendy small place, up a small alley. More expensive than we have paid but nice food and friendly staff.

This was a fun location with very friendly staff. The food came out quickly and was a bit more on the expensive side but not too bad! My mum and I shared the hummus toast (asked for no egg) and the mushroom toast! Both were good but I highly recommend the mushroom!!! Was a fav! Iced latte was okay if you enjoy coconut milk😄

Most expensive meal we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far - equivalent to £18 for mushrooms on toast, smoothie bowl and 2x drinks but it was very delicious! Highly recommend the mushrooms on toast and if you like smoothie bowls, theirs are very refreshing and not overly crazy portion sizes. Some things are clearly vegan, others you have to ask but they’ll happily go and check. Despite it being the most expensive meal yet, I’d deffo go back - so yum!

The restaurant was really hidden but we were able to find it and enjoyed a delicious smoothis bowl and even more delicious smoothie! It was super delicious and the staff really friendly.

But I can’t recommend taking a smoothie bowl AND a juice/smoothie, it was too much liquid for me😂

Liegt etwas versteckt am Ende eines schmalen Gangs, der von der Hauptstraße abgeht. Die Avocado-Toasts waren wirklich sehr gut. Avocado-Bowl ebenfalls. Auch schön angerichtet. Als Nachtisch ist das Bananenbrot sehr zu empfehlen, das mit Kithul serviert wird.

We had a smoothie bowl and the special iced latte, which is with coconut milk and vegan whipped cream. I really liked the drinks and food, the smoothie bowl was quite big, we felt full after eating it.

I had the weirdest avocado toast in my life there. They use some white bread (like the one for toasts) and it’s like 5 cm thick!! And they put a lot of cabbage on it along with some avocado and mushrooms (they can put mushrooms instead of eggs if requested). The coffee with coconut milk is too fat. The service is extremely slow. I was waiting for a coffee for 15 minutes (had to hurry them up twice)

I had food poisoning (from a different place) and it struck me while I was at the secret alley. The stuff was very helpful and packed up our food to go. They even made me a shot to stop it, which it did. They also gave me free watermelon to go. Would definitely want to go there again to properly try the food.

Read moreCow’s milk comes from enslaved cows who spend their whole lives being forcibly impregnated until they’re eventually sent to a slaughterhouse when their milk production declines. Just use coconut milk!
Egg laying hens lay upwards of 100 eggs a year thank to genetic manipulation and breeding, destroying their bodies and ensuring they have a short and painful life. They too are sent to slaughterhouses once they stop producing eggs. Just stick with avocado toast!

I went there because I wanted a cappuccino. The machine was broken. Besides they don’t offer soy- or almond- milk.

Angenehmes, kleines, schönes Café mit vegetarischen Kleinigkeiten. Die Portionen sind mittel bis klein aber dafür mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war freundlich und die Preise in Ordnung. Für einen Mitteleuropäer günstig, für einheimische leicht gehoben. Aber dafür laut Ausschreibung alles regional.

Really nice vegan options. Especially nice to eat some western vegan food for a change! Bit expensive for Sri Lanka, but worth it for the change. Would definitely recommend to vegans staying in Kandy, it has a cool atmosphere

We stopped in at 4:00 PM and ordered the only complete meal item on the menu -Bliss Bowl . Board said that the Bliss Bowl wasn’t available before 11:30AM. However we were then told that it wasn’t available after 3:30PM. The place was to close at 6:00PM. Absurd
