first impression ok, first bite awful - Edit
This cafe is quite new and it offers a couple of vegan options, which are clearly labelled: One cake, a cookie, canelé and granola. Drinks can be made with oatmilk for a surcharge of 700 KRW.
Read moreI got a vegan mud cake (whole wheat), which looked promising but tasted awful! The cakey part was dry and sandy, the ganache frosting was strangely slimy. The cake was not even sweet enough to cover the bad impression of the texture... (it was a hardly sweet, more healthyish type of cake)
The guava ade was ok.
I wonder whether the other vegan options tasted any better...
The cafe has a modern interior and has an open, concrete feel to it. They said, they had opened about 3 weeks ago, and somehow you can still smell the paint...
Cons: taste bad, surcharge for plant-based milk, still smells like paint inside

yeah... it was very disappointing 😭 I told them what I didn't like about it, though. Hopefully they change the recipe sometime...

Good new option in Yeonhui - Edit
Happy to have another great option in the neighborhood. Coffee was good and service friendly. Canele tastes good but always prefer them warm. Want to try the yogurt next time.
