Tourist price for good quality food - Edit
We're big fans of Indian cuisines and when this restaurant was recommended to us by our host family, we were keen to try out their vegan-friendly food combined with a live jazz performance. Staff were attentive, the menu was in English with ingredients listed and portions were a good size (in line with the price offered). #Veganuary

High price for high quality - Edit
Nothing to add, main dishes were ~10€ each, which is about 5x what you pay in other places. But it is however really decent nutritious food. See photos attached. The bad reviews here appear to be outdated, guess they had a revolution :-)

Best place to eat amazing vegan food in Havana at night - Edit
Although not fully vegan and not exactly typical Cuban food, there are great vegan options here. Their chole bhature and their lentils tikka masala have so much flavour that it blew my mind. I highly recommend their samosas as well. The staff is very friendly and will gladly help you with any questions and requests. Their cuban drinks are also great, Chancháran probably being my favourite (I just needed to ask them to swap honey for sugar).

Enjoyable - Edit
I thought the food was very tasty and vegan options were decent. I didn’t think twice about the prices. However, after reading other reviews, I realize the prices are geared toward Americans and likely unaffordable for locals.

As you'd expect Cuban Indian to be! - Edit
We were surprised to see an Indian restaurant in Havana so wanted to give it a go. Staff were nice and the choices were good. I'm veggie and had the paneer which I wouldn't recommend, chewy cheese and bland sauce. BF had black beans which was nice. Samosas were really good. Much more expensive than all the other meals we had in Cuba.

Good Indian food! - Edit
We told the waitress we were vegan and she was very nice and accommodating. I really liked the eggplant vegan dish but it’s more like a side or a dip.

There is better out there! - Edit
I went here for a change of venue. The menu is mainly veggie, but they are happy to suggest what can be made vegan. I found it a little bland, but I only had one dish of eggplant curry. At the time the variety and something vegan was very welcome but overall not that impressive. I also found it very expensive even by Cuban tourists standards.

Pricey, bland and small portions - Edit
Nice ambience and good service, but the servings were small and very bland, despite the "2 chillis" rating. V. expensive too, even without any wine.

Disappointed - Edit
We went here after reading the reviews. We were disappointed.
Read moreFirst, it was more expensive than anyplace else we ate in Havana for very little food.
Second, they only have a couple of vegan options, which are really side dishes. The eggplant dish was tasty, but it's not a meal. They charged $5 for a small bowl of rice.
On the plus side, our server brought out the eggplant dish and immediately took it back because they'd made it with butter. So at least she paid attention to our request for vegan dishes.
It was the only place in Havana we tried that we would not go back to.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Small portions, Not good value

Nice and different - Edit
Nice to see an Indian place in Havana! The staff was friendly and the food was good. The main dish is generally served with beans and naan instead of rice, which was suprisingly good. They have some vegetarian dishes to chose from and it tasted good, though different from other Indian food I've had (not that much sauce here). Definitely recommend a visit!

Strange, but good - Edit
I'm not sure exactly what was going on in there when I showed up, it was early in the day. Maybe they were just opening? They seemed surprised to see me and there was some kind of negotiation happening before I got a table. I was the only customer. The samosas were good. The server was friendly. The options in Havana are limited, so I'd give this a try.

Great restaurant. Nice décor, very attentive service , and excellent items. Although, the veg/vegan items are few, they were tasty and very satisfying.
