AMAZING VEGAN FOOD IN PUEBLA 🩷 - Edit
Wow wow wow, if you are in Puebla then you HAVE to come to Britches! Amazing mix of dishes, some which are vegetable focused and some with the most fantastic mock meats. Lots of the food are veganised Mexican dishes, it's so nice to not feel like you're missing out on the local culinary scene! I had the Britches Bowl and the Cemitas and would highly recommend both!

It is a small restaurant and now shares a space with another restaurant, but they said they’re moving next week to their own place!
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and one waiter spoke English very well. When we came we were the only ones there and sat inside, but that was really nice and had a small chat with the staff.
The food is cheap and very delicious. The taco’s were a bit plain with just vegan meat (or we’re not used to that), but the ‘meat’ itself tasted really good.
I would recommend to go here when in Puebla, and the new location is supposed to be even better!

Great food and great service. The enchilada 'meat' was our favourite. They have main courses as well as tacos and snacks etc. Definitely worth a visit. We sat in the courtyard and had beers from the bar next door with our food.

Not only was this place beautiful to eat in, not only was the food the kind of deliciously cravable magic that will haunt me back home in America, but the staff was so kind and friendly in a way that made us feel like regulars. I would visit every day if I could, just for their cemitas and the incredible pepper sauce it comes with!

Excellent option to try the local cuisine without animal products. They have many popular Mexican dishes and the staff is very friendly. I had the "Gringa", it was very tasty and the house-made cheese was amazing! Highly recommend 👌

I really enjoyed my meal at this new vegan restaurant. My visit to Puebla has coincided with the time they celebrate the dish chile en nogada and I was delighted that Britches Puebla were serving it at this time. Everything was delicious and plentiful and my waiter was really lovely too - and spoke perfect English! It looks like they do lots of other traditional dishes too so it’s perfect if you are a vegan visitor, like myself, and want to try the local cuisine. Their menu is on their Facebook page.

Es un gran lugar para comer, cenar y el domingo ofrece desayunos muy ricos. El local se ubica en el patio de una casona antigua. El equipo es muy simpático, tienen un Chef muy experto. Apoyan a un refugio de animales. Se encuentra a 5 cuadras del zócalo de Puebla, a media cuadra de la iglesia de San Agustín y del hotel NH.

Me encantó el lugar y la comida ni hablar es demasiado buena, creo que tiene precios muy accesibles y justos para lo que ofrece, el personal es muy amable y te atienden muy bien, regresaría mil veces. Algo que también hay que destacar es que es un lugar antiespecista :)
