Couldn’t help ourselves: went twice - Edit
Wanted to go to Bamboo as well on our trip, but this place was so good from the night before (and we’d not tried the main courses yet because the starters were all soo good and so filling)

The restaurant itself is lovely! Lots of veggie options on the menu. We ordered mango spring rolls and the papaya & mango salad to share (both vegan i think) and it was some of the best food we've had in Laos. Beautifully presented and very healthy. Staff were friendly :)

Lovely restaurants with clearly several vegetarian dishes. One vegan burger. Other vegetarian dishes might be vegan but aren't marked as so you might asked which ones are vegan.

The reviews for this place swayed me, I had to get the veggie burger, and it was well worth it, definitely my first time having jackfruit served in the form of a patty but it was delicious. A bit expensive, but on well!

Super delicious tofu salad and vegan burger here! We came back twice it’s so good. The food isn’t the cheapest but it is great. Defo recommend.

Amazing Vegan Laos dishes - Edit
I had the Laap Salad, a traditional Laos dish and ended up going back later for a burger it was just that good. The staff a very knowledgeable and made ordering vegan easy. $6.50 usd for lunch.

This restaurant is located in the historic quarter and it’s near the major tourist sights. The staff is also friendly and helpful and the menu is clearly labeled. I had the special vegetable and lemongrass dish and it was fantastic. The portions were small and the menu was expensive by Laotian standards.

Read moreStill, despite its popularity, it's just not that good. They have a few options specifically marked as vegan and others that can be made so on request; the concept is clearly understood, so at least it's easy. But the portions are small, the food is bland, and the price is ridiculously high by Laos standards. Service is also poor due to the popularity.
Would not recommend unless you're in the area and feeling very lazy.

They have clearly marked veggie/vegan options and everything looks very good! But the food was quite disappointing and way to expensive for Laos. I guess a save choice if you want vegan, western food but I would eat somewhere else.

El restaurante es muy acogedor y el personal muy atento y agradable. En el menú se indican claramente las opciones vegetarianas. Pedimos la hamburguesa vegana y la ensalada de tofu. La hamburguesa era como un paté que se desarmaba, no sentí el sabor a jackfruit así que creo que me dieron la vegetariana sin queso. Pero era imposible determinar los ingredientes. La ensalada era bastante pobre también. Por el precio que se paga hay mejores opciones para veganos Luang Prabang.

Employees don't really understand what vegan is. Even their vegetarian option has parmesan cheese (which is not vegetarian). Only real vegan options are the mushy vegan burger which I would not recommend. And the other option is a side vegetable which I did not try.

Easy Vegan - Edit
Many vegan options - some labeled vegan some vegetarian but can be made vegan. Great tasting Laotian green leaf soup with wood pieces called Orlam. The jackfruit burger is also very nice as are the Asian tacos and various tofu and Buddha bowls.

This rather elegant eatery serves tofu. Actual T O F U. I sound surprised because for all Luang Prabang in Laos' cosmopolitanism most travellers seem content to munch their way through baebecued dead animals on sticks... brochures, rather. This place serves meat but also has a number of tasty vegan options. Buddha bowls, vegan burger, tofu bowl and good cocktails. Stylish place.
