Small but kind - Edit
The cafe is tiny with enough seating for no more than 6 people but the service was speedy and the staff kind. There were very clearly labelled vegan options which was incredible too

Grab & Go - Edit
Very popular, friendly sandwich bar, with a decent selection of vegan options at very reasonable prices.
Read moreWe popped in and got the vegan haggis and cheese toastie with brown sauce, a hummus and roasted veg sandwich, and a brownie for our train home, which were all tasty.

Lots of vegan choice - Edit
If the wait for hot sandwiches during the Festival is too long (might be 20 minutes) you can grab a ready made one - three are three vegan ones

Great vegan soups and toast vegan haggis - Edit
They have two vegan soups, very taste, a lot of vegan sandwiches and a delicious toast vegan haggis. The best, good price. Soup costs 3.5 £ and it’s a good portion

Best coffee in Scotland. - Edit
If you are looking for the best coffee in Scotland... This is the place. And you can take my word for it, because we are snobby coffee obsessed Australians.
Read moreIncredible coffee, great sandwiches and very friendly staff who made me a fresh vegan sandwich even though they hadn't started prepping vegan options for the day.
Don't miss this.

Lots of choice, decent prices - Edit
Great place for a simple and easy sandwich and soup at lunchtime. If there isn't a vegan sandwich in the counter you want then they can make something up for you. Even a peanut butter sandwich is no problem at all!

Daily vegan lunch - Edit
I head here most days for lunch. 2 vegan soup options (the lentil is so good I have it daily). 3 vegan sandwich options (2 hummus based, one violife cheese). Super nice staff and anything can be made up onto rolls or toasties.
Read moreThey usually have vegan brownies too!
There are two tables outside (Scottish weather permitting) and four small window seats but mostly takeaway. Not sure if they do dairy free milk.
Recommend! Apparently can't give it 5 as it's not fully vegan.
Pros: The vegan brownies days are a good day, Vegan soup is reliable and tasty!

vegan haggis - Edit
Lots of vegan sandwich options, including a vegan haggis and cheese toastie. The cardamom coffee is strong if you like strong coffee.

Good choice of vegan lunches - Edit
Went here during the Fringe. Had 6/7 vegan sandwich options, most of which could be toasted. They were happy to make up a vegan toastie as many of the pre-made sandwiches had run out.

ok - Edit
A bit of a dilemma over 2 or 3 star rating.
Read moreMy sandwich was okay but a little lacking in imagination. Hummus, olives, carrot and cucumber and although heathy, a little bland.
I've give the Benefit of the doubt as 2 of the 4 choices were missing, possibly sold out, they look better options.
Ok for a quick lunch sandwich.
Pros: 4 options, healthy
Cons: needs seasoning
