i liked mostly everything about this place, it’s accurate, clean, i got good service and liked the pizza i had, the only thing they run out of tiramisu and carrot cake, so i couldn’t try it, but it also was the end of the day, so understandable. wanna come back for closing my tiramisu gestalt.

Read moreWe had the crisps and dip starter, foccacia sandwiches and capricosa pizza and it was all absolutely delicious!! Just when i thought I couldn't fit any more food in i felt I needed to try the tiramisu (said it was the best outside of Italy!) And it didn't lie, it was exceptionally good! The fresh mint leaves peppermint tea was lovely too. Definitely recommend this place, staff also very friendly.

We visited Bar Blu for dinner one evening during our weeklong stay in Barcelona. It's 100% vegan, very popular and a little overhyped! Make no mistake, their pizzas are very good. The base is light & airy and the toppings of high quality. My choice came with truffle, shiitake mushrooms & pumpkin and really was very nice. My wife didn't fancy pizza so opted for the pulled 'pork' sandwich. She wasn't quite so impressed. It would be much better if they used jackfruit in something like this rather than whatever meat substitute it was.
Read moreI am a little surprised at just how highly rated this place is - it is one of the top ten on Happy Cow and number six in all of Barcelona on TripAdvisor. But it's just a pretty run of the mill place serving artisan pizza. Such places are ten a penny in trendy parts of London! I'd nonetheless definitely recommend it - just don't believe the hype about it being one of the very best places in the city!
Finally, service wasn't great - for example, my wife twice asked for a glass of tap water and on both occassions nothing arrived!
Pros: Good pizza, Good cocktail list, Large terrace that is heated on chilly evenings
Cons: Service could be better, Sandwiches not so good, Pizzas a little pricey at €15 or so

I cannot compare this place to others in Barcelona, because this is my first restaurant I’ve ever been to here (maybe the bar is just that high), but I can compare it to all the others I’ve been to in the world: this was simply perfect! Friendly English-speaking staff, cute place, and good location. First time bravas, first time focaccia, and I am very very satisfied. I had had tiramisu before, but the one I had in BluBAR was fabulous!

Pedimos nachos, una pizza y papas dulces. Todo muy rico, porciones grandes, acompañadas con salsa rica.
El vino que tomamos también estuvo bastante bueno.
La única cosa que me falto fue más opciones menos "fat". (E.g. verdura cruda con dips, algo fresco y ligero)

Restaurant with large terrace. They have a wide variety of different dishes. We had a mushroom and truffle pizza and a burrito. The burrito was good, but the pizza was delicious. They also have desserts, we ordered the carrot cake, the portion was very large and it was very good too.

We really enjoyed the food there! Also, every morning before going to the shore, we went there to get cappuccino to go. It is a lovely spot with great street corner terrace, cozy seats at the windows, and very pleasant staff. We highly recommend it. Great location too
