El primer restaurant a donde salimos a comer apenas llegamos a Barcelona allá en Marzo del 2021. Plena pandemia, calles desoladas y este hermoso lugar abierto. Comimos increible y desde ese momento volvimos muchas veces más. Llevamos amigos, festejamos cumpleaños. Nos encanta. Rica cerveza (turia tostada), increibles pizzas y atención.

Read moreNachtrag: Wir waren am Ende des Urlaubs nochmal da... wieder voll, aber auf dem Fensterbrett (kein Witz) war noch etwas frei. Wir haben zwar ein wenig eng, aber trotzdem gut gesessen und vor allem wieder sehr gut gegessen. Nachos, Dumplings und ein Sandwich. Leckker!

When we travel i make it a point to visit new vegan places i may not ever get another chance to try. So it was a rare thing that I insisted we go back to Blu Bar the day after we first ate there (on our first ever trip to Barcelona.) But the food was so incredible and there was so much more to try. The kimchi potato tapas is divine and my hard to please husband couldn't stop raving about the tiramisu. If I could replace every beverage I consume daily with the kombucha they serve I'd be in heaven. Perhaps a hair pricey but both times we had enough leftover to take back to the hotel for a perfect sized late-night snack which made the cost more than reasonable. If I absolutely had to pick a con I'd say both times we had a tad more of a wait to pay the check than we would have liked but nothing crazy (five minutes tops but everything is more laid back in Barcelona than we're used to in the US so I'm really grasping for that tiny little "complaint".) If I'm ever lucky enough to visit Barcelona again I will definitely be stopping by Blu Bar and I highly recommend others do as well.

I had the Mexican bowl, which tasted really good. Sadly I felt like the waiters avoided eye contact for quite some time because they were very busy and couldn’t deal with another order... The waiter that took my order was very nice though!

The food was very delicious. We ordered two pizza one capriciosa and another with shitake and truffle. We also had the blu bar burger. The mayo by the house is out of this world. The tiramisu was very tasty even though it wasn’t really a tradicional tiramisu The only down said is the service that is a little slow. But will definitely come back fr more!
