Vegan affordable restaurant - Edit
All the food was vegan. There was no "Gardenia" (non-vegan) bread. There was hardly any shop section. They had vegan bread ("Ezekiel"). Opening times are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday only; 11 am until around 6 pm/until the food runs out. Very friendly people; the restaurant is upstairs (one floor above ground floor, above the Blissful Belly sign); entrance is on the left side of the building - just walk up the stairs.

Good solid Filipino cooking. Six flavoursome options served with rice and soup. I think it was all vegan not just vegetarian.

Easy vegetarian - Edit
So happy to find this place in Katipunan! Dishes were displayed on the counter for you to pick from. Ordered a combo, rice plus two choices of mains, which is convenient. I had brown rice with kare-kare and eggplant-tofu in peanut sauce, worth 160 pesos. Great value for a quick, no-fuss lunch. The place is surrounded with posters that promote animal rights and vegetarianism.

Who says vegan is expensive? - Edit
This has always been our go-to vegan place for take-out. It’s very affordable, esp for students (since this is near the university area). Very quiet and unassuming store...

Great Filipino Food in Katipunan - Edit
If you love classic Filipino food, you will love this place! I've brought omnivore friends here and they all agree that if vegan food tasted the way the food here tastes, then they could be converted. My favorites are their Sisig and their Sinigang.

A delectable meal! - Edit
I like it a lot! The food was great and I think I'm starting to like brown rice, because believe me, I hate them so much but thanks to HappyCow app I ha found this place with affable staff. Clap clap! The ambience was okay, what important is its content, I'm in love with the place, and how they're reminding people to be health conscious which is exactly my life's advocacy at 26. Thanks

great, expanded their variety of food - Edit
The restaurant per se is right beside the integrated clinic. So it's like two in one place. Place was well ventilated, the food was somehow limited but mind you, they are really tasty. You wouldn't me bothered by how they cook their food because it is being run by an integrated medicine doctor who himslef has been a vegetarian for 3 decades so don't worry about it.

Pros: friendly staff, good food
Cons: add more food options including drinks

So good! - Edit
The food here was wonderful! The restaurant is turo turo style, meaning there is pre-prepared food and you choose what you want to eat from what's offered.
Read moreThe malunggay soup was very good, but my favorite dishes were the sisig and the tofu eggplant. They also had amazing hot sauce. I found the food here to be more authentically pinoy than the food at Pipino, which seemed to be kind of fusion/gentrified.
I'm so glad to see so many new veg restaurants in Metro Manila!!! Can't wait to go back - hopefully there will be more!
Pros: Vegan Sisig!!!, The hot sauce!

Lovely little cafe in Quezon City - Edit
This was another great find in Manila. The menu was quite limited - they had about 5 dishes pre-made in pots on the counter and only 2 types of juice (sugar cane juice and orange juice) so not a whole lot to choose from. We generally don't prefer pre-made foods, but these ones were great. Cooked with minimal oil without mock meats or excess unhealthy condiments such as sugar and salt, etc. They had just enough to bring the natural flavours of the ingredients out and nothing more. We tried 3 of the 5 dishes - a vegetable curry (which had an indian feel to it but it may be local, we're not sure), a local dish called 'laing' (taro leaves in coconut milk) and kare-kare (peanut based stew), served with brown rice. All were fabulous - naturally full of flavour and a great introduction to the local cuisine. Only wish they had more available for us to try! The restaurant was pleasant and clean - it looked out over a nice little fruit stand, which was nice. Looking forward to trying them again sometime.

I wish this place was closer . - Edit
I come to this place whenever I can brave the traffic. The food is sentient and provides a welcome vegetarian version to local Filipino foods like sisig and adobo. The shakes are energizing.
