Highly recommend Blue Oyster BBQ - Edit
"Tapas" a la carte. Delicious dishes, great size for sharing and exploring the menu. Highly recommend trying the blue oyster mushroom bbq - cross and slightly sweet.

Simply the best meal I ever had - Edit
Thoughtful , ambience , taste , service , the drinks. All vegan and all prepared meticulously. The tastes were amazing with their own farm cultivated mushrooms.

Perfect introduction to tasting experiences - Edit
A perfect introduction to a tasting experience for us. Amazing flavours, combinations and textures. Brilliant customer service with super friendly and accommodating staff explaining each course. One of us cannot have aubergine, but they were more than happy to offer an alternative starter in addition to the ‘set’ menu and we even got an extra milk bread included! A true showcase of plant-based food at a reasonable price, highly recommended.
Read moreWe had the 5-course tasting menu with the addition of their locally grown Lupa Fried mushrooms. Courses when we visited included a balsamic tomato with soy cream cheese and rye bread pieces appetiser; starters of milk bread, white bean puree and harissa; roasted apricots and fried aubergine on top of a minty tabbouleh; a main course of arancini with pesto and barbequed mushrooms and lettuce with Caesar dressing; and a dessert of elderflower ice cream with mixed berry coulis and mixed grain crumb.
Pros: Super friendly staff, Accomodating to allergies/intolerances, Delicious food

Anniversary dinner - Edit
Went here with a giftcard we got for our wedding. Such a pleasant experience. And the food was really good. We went for the tasting menu and wine pairing.
Read moreThe alcohol free wine pairing is home made cordials and juices, and these where quite small in servings, tho tasty we Would not order this again. Everything Else was really good.!
Pros: Food and looks of the dishes , Extensive knowledge about the food from the server, Interior and vibe
Cons: The alcohol free wine tasting menu, Didnt care for the ala carbonara. Fishy taste

Great experience and food - Edit
I went here to celebrate my exam and I went home after my visit here with a smile on my face! The food was really good, I love that they garden their own mushrooms that they use in the dishes and also make their own kombucha. It makes the experience even more special. The waiter that we had was also very sweet and even gave me an extra dessert for my special day! Will definitely go back if I get the chance 😍

Nice dishes - Edit
We decided not going for the set menu but ordered one of each of the savoury dishes on the menu instead. Some of th were great, some of them just ok. The kombucha/pear drink unfortunately tasted just like liquor and we didn’t even manage to finish it. All in all good - but maybe a bit over hyped?

A must-try if you get the chance! - Edit
I've taken numerous non-veg people with me here and all of us agree: this is one of the best food experiences we've ever had. Everything is absolutely top-notch. The food itself just blows you away, let alone their outstanding atmosphere and service.

The best food I’ve ever had - Edit
Calming, somewhat casual ambience, this place lives up to the reputation of its 2023 and 2024 Michelin stars. My husband and I got the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it’s honestly the first time I’ve ever involuntarily closed my eyes while chewing because it was that good. Locally “foraged” ingredients and everything there is sustainably sourced. If you have the option to try this place it’s a must. You will thank yourself.

Worth every penny - Edit
We had a lovely anniversary dinner here two nights ago and everything from the service to the ingredients and taste of the food was simply great. All the plates were plant based and great and the fried mushrooms were spectacular. We ordered the tasting menu and were both super full and satisfied, which is not always the case in fine dining restaurants. Special shout out to Beatrice for your amazing service.

Not the vegan experience I’d hope for! - Edit
This is the perfect place to throw your dumb made or inherited money. They will charge you $9 for a bottle of house-made gassed tap water for three people even if one clearly refused it. They even took the clean glass away leaving just 2 on the table. You can also get infant sized portions to feed your daycare appetite. If you are impressed by the ambiance here you might think Starbucks has the best coffee in every city and the dirty thin outdoor seat mats are comfortable. They do have outside seating to roll some large bill cash into cigarettes incase you can’t burn your money fast enough. If you are a pretentious food snob you will love the stingy ounce of deep fried blue oyster mushrooms that are cold by the time they serve them a long with the pretentious cool waiter vibe taking out his bad life decisions out on you.
Read moreTo be fair, the broccolini was as good as some you can imagine at an average to better vegan potluck.
I’ve been to some amazing vegan restaurants in my lifetime traveling and living in cities that have been vegan 25 plus years. The 3 dishes were no better or worse than what you might find in a vegan deli selling food by the weight. Leaving really the only difference to be that the food didn’t get served cold and in plastic
Pros: To far from home to be tempted to go again
Cons: Not a fun experience , My non vegan friends were not impressed

Very nice, but maybe over-hyped - Edit
Maybe I read too many reviews, but the service we got was definitely not as good as we were expecting. The Italian waiter's accent was so strong we could only understand half of what he said, and I don't think the service was anything above the ordinary.
Read moreThe food however was very nice. We had the weekend tasting menu and really enjoyed it. The additional 75kr mushrooms were delicious.
We spent just over 2000kr for two people, including 2x 3 wine match, 3 cocktails and the extra mushrooms and it was all very nice.
If I'm honest though, I don't think I'd bother going back.
Pros: Food was good, Nice restaurant , Not far from home!
Cons: I think it's a bit overpriced , Didn't get the great service everyone raves about

Good vegan fine dining option - Edit
We got the set menu and really enjoyed it. The main course, orzo in a tomato sauce and a nut based ricotta, was particularly excellent. This was also one of my partner’s favorite desserts in Copenhagen. It was a matcha ice cream in a rhubarb sauce.

Everything was wonderful, from the staff to the food to the drinks. We had the non-alcoholic pairing to the tasting menu and had an absolutely fantastic evening. Lucien was a darling, as was everyone else. The food and drinks were exquisite, imaginative and unusual. We were slightly late, but welcomed beautifully. Thank you for a perfect evening.

Date night tasting menu - Edit
Searching for vegan places to come while in Copenhagen and came across Michelin vegan restaurants Ark and Lupa so immediately knew I had to book!
Read moreWe came here on a Saturday night for a valentines treat on our overnight stay in Copenhagen. Saturday night there is only the option for the 5 course tasting menu. The wine list has a lot of natural wines that I am not familiar with so we went with the 3 wine tasting option as well.
Bistró Lupa has a philosophy of using local foods and they forage for ingredients in Copenhagen. My favourite dishes were the celeriac pasta, flat bread and the apple strudel dessert. Oh my god. Yum!
Staff are really nice and attentive. They even topped up our wine glasses! Ambience is effortlessly Scandi cool. Recommend the corner window seat for a cosy romantic dinner for two.
Bistró Lupa has a Michelin Green rating demonstrating its commitment to sustainability.
Pros: Fully vegan / delicious menu, Sustainable , Staff

Delicious food, but disappointing experience - Edit
Cozy place with delicious food and great service. Every single dish we tried as bursting with flavor, beautifully plated, and overall a pleasure to eat. I really enjoyed their “pasta” dish and the dessert. The extra mushroom course was not worth it in my opinion and I would not recommend it.
Read moreHowever, despite a positive food experience could not give Lupa five stars because I left hungry and disappointed. The meal did not build up as one went from a course to the next. That is, there was no dish that felt like a “main” but rather the entire meal felt like small appetizers and then you got a dessert. I love tasting menu experiences but this one felt like it was missing something. None of the dishes featured any protein or something (other than bread) that would really satisfy, and portions were small considering it was only 5 (and realistically 4 because some dishes came together and were shared) courses. Given the fact that the only option is the five course menu, It was especially frustrating to feel like all these delicious small dishes built up my expectations of a sumptuous main and I was left disappointed.
Dessert, at least, was delicious and likely my favorite dish.
Overall, I would not return and cannot fully recommend stopping by. For the price tag you can eat better elsewhere
Pros: Delicious food, Great service , Courses came out quickly
Cons: Menu lacked a good flow , Portions were too small / not satisfying , Expensive
