Good vegan options on request - Edit
A modern Danish café, not fully vegan but with plenty of vegan options on request! We tried the vegan morning baryl, vegan blogger and vegan gluten free pancakes along with the c vitamin clash smoothie and baryl lemonade 2.0. This was our first experience of a brunch platter with multiple mini dishes served on one plate, which was exciting, and very much enjoyed. The chia pudding was creamy and the cream on top had a delicious caramel flavour with fresh strawberries. The salad was fresh, the hummus on smørrebrød was tasty and the plant-based tuna was rather nice too. The smoothie was our first intro to sea buckthorn and made a refreshing drink. The lemonade was rather tart but had a good kick to start the day, and was a very cool purple colour. The plates felt healthy and were filling. Unfortunately, we did get served an egg as a part of the morning baryl despite asking for it to be removed, but the rest was delicious and a special experience tasting many flavours!

Great waffles, beware the egg! - Edit
I’ve been to Baryl a couple of times, and both visits were overall nice. The vegan waffle and granola bowls are delicious, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. However, the place tends to get very crowded and loud, which can affect the experience.
Read moreOn one occasion, our order was wrong—we received a dish with an egg dominantly ruling the plate, despite clearly requesting the vegan option. Even though they apologised and quickly provided us with a new dish, it was disappointing and something I hope they’d pay closer attention to.
It would also be great if they offered a proper gluten-free option. When I was there, they just swapped the bread for a handful of extra spinach instead of gluten-free bread, which feels a bit unfair—it’s hard to justify paying full price for what ends up feeling like an incomplete dish.

Good brunch - Edit
I've eaten here twice and both times tried the vegan blogger. The chia pudding is very nice with the cream and strawberries. The fact there is a fresh salad and a tasty sourdough piece with hummus, love it

Nice brunch spot - Edit
Cute little place with some nice brunch options. Not a vegan cafe, but plenty of options that are clearly marked in the menu. Would recommend!
