We saw many biocoops while visiting Lyon and decided to enter and buy some food.

This location was smaller than the one that's close to Like and Elephant, but it was still packed with vegan snacks. I got some delicious black forest tofu that I was able to take with me for the plane ride home. It's true they offer less products than their other locations, but it still carries many more products that Naturalia and La Vie Claire.

I went here to buy some cookies. It was a small store. There were different kind of vegan cookies but they weren't labeled as vegan by the store, only the packaging was. The staff was friendly.

we stayed in lyon for a week in an apartment and enjoyed lots of things about lyon but it wasn't always so easy to find a place to eat out with vegan/vegetarian options. thank goodness for this coop - soooo many veg/vegan things. all the vegan meat, cheese, yogurt, milks, etc you could want with a great bulk section, decent produce, etc. - we found everything we could have wanted for our grocery selection!

Adresse incontournable dans l'hypercentre de Lyon - Edit
Cette Biocoop est une valeur sûre. Leur choix est vaste (surtout en vrac), leur rayon frais est un peu petit mais comporte néanmoins des basiques qui dépannent bien, rayon primeur souvent diversifié et intéressant (et majoritairement local!). A noter qu'ils ont un rayon épicerie japonaise intéressant! Et ils vendent un chocolat de couverture à la pesée (en face du comptoir en bas à gauche) qui est excellent, surtout en ces périodes de préparatifs de Noël... Je trouve les tarifs globalement dans la moyenne raisonnable, surtout quand on va vers des produits bruts et en vrac. Bref, je recommande !

Biocoop in downtown Lyon - Edit
Though not as big as some of its cousins, the Biocoop in Lyon manages to pack a lot into its compact footprint. Plenty of vegan items of all kinds, including snacks and sweet stuff.
