Had high expectations but was let down 😔 - Edit
Great ambiance, and our waitress was amazing! I really had the best margarita of my life here, and the mojito was excellent as well! The dishes, however, left a bit to be desired. We ordered the pimientos de piquillo, which were excellent, and the best dish of the night. For our mains, we ordered the risotto de coliflor and the carpaccio de zucchini. Both were not good unfortunately, and kinda spoiled the meal. Especially the carpaccio, which would have been great only by the standards of a raw vegan 😭😭😭. Kinda a bummer overall especially for the price.

Not bad - Edit
Some nice options here, but not quite the same level as Casa Sans which is located in the same hotel – that place is a must-try!
Read moreHighlights here were the marinated carrot and raw pizza. Rice rolls were a bit dry and lacked flavor. As for the Cochayuyo, safe to say it's definitely not for everyone 🙃

Five stars for vegan options here - Edit
This restaurant is amazing. I dined with an omnivore colleague and he even chose all vegan options. Minor disappointment with my choice of the vegan truffle “degustation”; only two (with nuts) of five were worth eating, but his choice of the peanut butter chocolate pyramid was delicious.
Read morePS: the app doesn’t allow more than four stars for restaurants that are not fully vegan or vegetarian but Bidasoa deserves five stars.
Pros: Delicious vegan options , Very good, friendly service
Cons: Outside has smoking allowed, so book inside, Need a reservation or arrive early (before 8pm)

A little expensive but WONDERFUL - Edit
It's a bit expensive but worth it, because the place and the stuff are wonderful and it's also something to expect in a pricey area of the city itself, but it's good to know so one can be prepared.
Read moreCañamo pizza is TO DIE FOR, and there a lot of other vegan nice dishes. Drinks are a little too expensive, though, and there are not too many sweet choices.
Pros: Great vegan dishes, Cañamo pizza, The place is absolutely beautiful
Cons: Difficult to park, Not many vegan sweet choices, Drinks are a bit too pricey

One of my favorite restaurants - Edit
Even if it is not a fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant, as the description indicates, they have a separate menu which is 100% plant based. I have tried the Vital ceviche, the Piquillo peppers, the Cauliflower Rice Rissotto and all the vegan desserts; all of them are really delicious.

I would give them 5 stars even if not vegetarian if I could.
Pros: Amazing food, Clearly labeled vegan options, Great atmosphere and attention
Cons: A bit expensive (but worth)

Great place, great vegan options - Edit
Finally came to Bidasoa restaurant to try some dishes of their vegan menu options. I’m vegan for almost 12 years now so every place with vegan options is really welcomed.
Read moreThe place is recently renovated, part of the Boutique Hotel Bidasoa in Vitacura.
Location is great, actually awesome, you can notice how everything has been carefully planned to the very details, making you feel very comfortable and with this feeling of being in home out of home.
I had two vegan dishes : the Entrance Cebiche de Cochayuyo (a local Chilean seaweed) that was increíble tasty, very well prepared with just the right amount of condiments and lemon juice to make it a very soft and enjoyable dish.
For the main dish I had the Pizza de Cañamo Proteica, a totally different approach to a classic dish, with a crust that is really unique and very well prepared.
Didn’t had time to try desserts so I will definitely will come back.
The whole experience was great and I totally recommend this place if your visiting Santiago and want to try some great vegan dishes in an awesome location.
Service and all the people here were also great, very polite and at the same time relaxed.
This is the kind of place and boutique hotel I actually look for when I travel, so discovering it in Santiago nearby was quite a catch.
100%, no 1000% recommend it !
Pros: Recently renovated, Decor is great , You feel at home out of Homs

Great food and location ! - Edit
Absolutely loved this place ! The food was great, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Also staff was very good and the outdoor patio is quite nice. Had the protein pizza (the dough is more of a raw pizza type) and chocolate pyramid for desert- both were amazing. Brownies are good too but expect more of an assortment of energy balls than a real brownie.
Read morePros: Super good!, Price ok for the place, Lots of choice
Cons: Have to order drinks
