Great Indian food - Edit
My go-to test for any Indian restaurant is whether they offer vegan bread — and here, the answer is a definite yes, with plenty of options to choose from.
Read moreIt was a little quiet when I visited, but the service and food were both excellent. I wasn’t planning to overdo it, but with vegan bread on offer, I couldn’t resist. I started with the onion rings/pakora — light, crisp, and clearly made with fresh oil, served with a lovely tamarind dip.
For my main, I had the chilli tofu and aloo paratha. The tofu was soft, baked, and full of flavour, and the bread was spot-on. Everything arrived together, which made for a hearty feast.
If you love Indian food, this place is a must-visit in Krakow.

An enjoyable lunch here. Don't miss the chilli kofta dish! The food isn't too oily either which I really appreciated. Fresh and tasty with mostly vegan dishes (minus the paneer, although they use tofu for the vegan versions). All the flatbreads use vegan butter.

À wonderful restaurant- delicious vegetarian and vegan food, warm and friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. À hidden gem!! 5 min walk from Stare Miasto. Each time we come to Krakow we make it a point to dine here - and we come from Canada!

Stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere else which we couldn't find. Took a chance on it as we were starving and what a happy accident that was! Friendly, helpful service and tonnes of choices for vegans which are clearly labelled on the clear menu.
Read moreFood is vibrant and looks amazing, but tastes even better. Portion sizes are generous so it's worth asking the sizes of things like the naan, as we ended up taking some home.
We ordered slightly too much for two hungry adults with bug appetites and the total was around £40 with two soft drinks, which is great value for such delicious food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Read moreWe ordered the equivalent of what we would eat in UK, including aloo chat and Tofu Madras and the portions were huge. Highly recommended.
Be aware:-
Didn’t see any alcohol on the menu.
Onion rings are basically onion Bahjis.
Starters come out with the mains.
Aloo chat is like a sweet Bombay Aloo.
Our meal came to 275 zloti (£55) with tip, for 2.
Everything is freshly cooked, this is not fast food.
Back today (05/06/24) for their full English breakfast, still vegan.
Also had juices and a cinnamon latte and it came to 170 zloti (£24). Server gave us 2 free mango lassi drinks which were amazing.
The best restaurant in Krakow for sure.

We really liked the food there. It's great that all the naan bread options are vegan (apart from one that is stuffed with cheese). The vegan mango lassi was delicious, as was the food we ordered. Lovely interior and comfortable seating (the room in the back was especially cosy).

Lovely but not coeliac friendly - Edit
I went here with my mum who is coeliac and we were very happy with the service and options for both gluten free and vegan. The food was so tasteful and filling. Unfortunately this restaurant is NOT SAFE FOR COELIACS. My mum had an allergic reaction shortly after eating there…but I (vegan) was fine.

Lovely vegan Indian food - Edit
Bhajan cafe has a yogic vibe with decor and background chanting which I really liked. The food was delicious and piping hot. The service was excellent. Little things like the waitress bringing two sets of glasses for our drinks one with ice and one without so we could choose shows the level of service.
