Great food but no a/c and too hot to eat! - Edit
Went for an evening meal during a heatwave. Food was delicious but it was 34 degrees and they don't have air conditioning. Even fans would have been useful but really couldn't enjoy the food given the heat.

Light Indian cuisine - Edit
My husband and I enjoyed Bhajan Cafe so much, we visited three times over the four days we were in Krakow! We came here twice for dinner and once for breakfast. We found the dinner portions large and very filling. They even have vegan Mango Lassi! The breakfast was smaller, but I don't think overpriced at all, at least not for us considering we're used to paying with the US dollar. The service was friendly and efficient. Just an overall calming vibe when visiting this restaurant. Can't wait to return when I visit Krakow again!

A bit disappointing - Edit
While the ambiance and the service were really nice. The food was not what I had expected after reading all of the positive reviews. My partner and I came here for breakfast, we ordered a smoothie each and the pancakes each. For the price the portion size of the pancakes was very poor - tiny portions! We were not full at all after eating them and needed to go somewhere else afterwards for a second breakfast. When clearing our plates away the waitress even asked if we would like to order more food, how strange! We shouldn’t need to order more food when paying so much for a meal. I would recommend you don’t come here for the breakfast but dinner instead, those reviews seem better.

Goodest cappu in town for sure, healthy-jummy food, beautiful lerkhis serving and very good location round up the very nice impression.

They have really nice sauces and tasty vegetables; you can also pick ready sets for one to four people, which is really cool, if you just came in to try something new.
Pros: Clear and helpful menu, Spicy food is actually spicy ❤

Reasonably priced with relatively large servings. Cooked fresh to order. Friendly staff. Menu items are clearly labelled with vegan and gluten free options. $15AUD got me a rice, roti and kofta dish. Way too much food for one but delicious and great value.

All vegetarian! Delicious authentic Indian cuisine. - Edit
Yes! An all vegetarian Indian restaurant in Krakow! We really enjoyed our first visit. Delicious food, authentic Indian, hearty portions. Great garlic nan. Best Vegan Mango Lassi, made with coconut milk. (They also have it made with dairy.) Beautiful rooms, creative decor and mellow atmosphere. We had special dietary needs and they honored them. Hope they're real popular!

Disappointing - Edit
No air conditioning when there's 30+ degrees C outside is a huge con - we could hardly sit out, actually ran away straight after the meal. Food was ok but not really impressive, big portion though. Waiter was quite unprofessional - looked confused, wasn't really helpful, even a bit annoying. Interior was supposed to remind of indian but looks cheap and the place lacks proper mood. Disappointing. I might give them another chance though.

Nice place for Indian food - Edit
I was surprised by all the vegetarian/vegan options they had. I however couldn’t enjoy my plate as it was too spicy for me (you can choose if you want it spicy or not but I wasn’t expected that) but my sister had tikka masala and rice and it was delicious.

Two Great Visits - Edit
Lovely atmosphere and good food- at dinner there are plenty of vegan food options that are all lovely and at breakfast time they are 100% vegan so I got lots of choices which was nice. The customer service was also extremely brilliant. The reason 4 not 5 is not because anything was particularly lacking it’s just This was my last food stop in Krakow and all the other stuff I ate while here was so amazing I think it just is a case of tough competition!

Hopes devastated; not Indian at all - Edit
I admire Indian cuisine. Having spent many months in Rajastan and other places in Northern India as well as many weeks in Nepal in the last 7 yrs I consider myself a conscious culinary traveller. One of the reasons I choose those countries is the food I can have there. Visiting Indian restaurants at least twice a week in Kraków is an extention of my love towards khadai, madras, masala, vindaloo and other dishes. That is why I visited Bhajan Cafe quickly and full of hope, just a few days after my return from Asia. Unfortunately the taste of what I was offered does not remind of the Indian dishes I am used to. Lack of spices. Small, very basic portions. Bread and tea were fine. Waiters possible, the manager very insistent and not accurate with her comments. Lack of desserts, though it was only 2:30 pm on Sunday. I cannot recommend having meals in this kitsch wallpaper decorations and food lacking the taste. Which I regret to say. Choose other Indian options in Kraków as this one seems to be the worst one.

Not bad but nothing special - Edit
They have an extensive menu of traditional Indian cuisine with lots of vegan options. They also offer non-Indian desserts like cakes and pies, some of which are vegan. All that we tried was OK, but not something to return for. The service was rather slow.

Yummy! - Edit
So worried I'd have live off bread and veggies when I came to Krakow, as the country is heavily meat based.
Read moreAlas, Bhajan Cafe is lovely, the main course filled me right up and I eat a lot! The apple pie was also quite dense and I couldn't finish it. Not the best dessert but not the worst attempt I've seen on vegan remakes.
Pros: Right near Old Town and Warwel Castle, bout a five
