Good, but nothing great. - Edit
I know there is better Thai in the DC area, but this was good.
Read moreI got the drunken noodles with tofu and veggies. It was very good. It had a slight kick to it! The tofu was very good, it was breaded and fried. 7/10
I would definitely come here again. All the vegan options were marked well on the menu! It had a cool atmosphere and staff was helpful and friendly!

A lot of food :) - Edit
We got the spring rolls and for the life of me I can't remember what it was called, something that wasn't marked vegan but the waiter assured me that it was possible to have it vegan. So I got that haha with extra vegetables and it was good. Really big portions and was able to have the rest of my meal in a box with me home.

Came here excited to try their food, and ordered the Vegetable Stir Fry (veggies & tofu sautéed in garlic and soy sauce). I know it’s not the most exciting or flavorful thing, but the veggies were tasty even while simple. The tofu however looked like it had just been cut off the block and tossed in at the last minute to heat it - it was waaaay too soft and not crisped enough. Hoping to give this place another shot and have something I’m more jazzed about!

Delicious nice restaurant & delivery, labeled vegan options - Edit
Lovely setting in a sleepy but charming neighborhood to dine in. Also they deliver (order online or by phone). Clearly labeled vegan options, yay!! Many great choices like tofu and veggie curries, summer rolls, peanut sauce salad, noodles, mango sticky rice, etc. Nothing mind blowing, but still very good!

Cute but spacious - Edit
The seating area is almost like a cafeteria, but it's cool because it's Mount Pleasant. They have a full bar, but they also have brunch. Most of the time for vegans, this means nothing. Here, it means you can try a cool coconut milk appetizer that is Thai street food style legit.
Read moreAnyhow, after you get over how delicious the menu appears with the markings for gluten free and vegan (!), then the food arrives and it's as delicious as you hoped. This place is so good, and the portions are generous. Unlike other Thai restaurants, it feels honest and true because the items they mark as vegan. Picking tofu over meat doesn't make it magically vegan, which is a bummer, but it means the worries about the vegan items are non-existent.
Just like the original, this place has lovely drunken noodles and stir fried veggie dishes. Summer rolls/ garden rolls and spring rolls, great appetizers that make your mouth happy. Save room for the mango with sticky rice dessert!
Pros: Vegan markings on the menu, Portions, Atmosphere
Cons: Not all items can be vegan
