The best vegan burger ever!! - Edit
You won’t find a better vegan burger anywhere. Especially not from such an amazing/fully vegan vendor as Beanie Bun. The owners are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. The oi oi oyster burger is my absolute favourite, loaded with fried oyster mushrooms their tangy mayo/mustard sauce and pickles its just to die for! It’s the place I always made a bee line for if I’m ever at the quayside market. My meat-eating friends and family sing its praises too. Don’t skip this vendor you visit the quayside/jesmond food market!

Delicious burger 🍔 - Edit
Today we went to the Sunniside food market and I was buzzing to find a vegan burger stall 🍔 I went for the 'oi oi oyster' burger which was lovely- the battered oyster mushroom was delicious with lots of flavour and the sauce was great with a generous amount of pickles too 🩷 staff were also very friendly 🥰

I'm not really one for burgers but having read some positive reviews, I thought I'd give Beanie Bun a try and boy, am I glad I did!
Read moreWe got the K.O (Korean Oyster) and Woi Oi (Jerk) burgers that were both absolutely delicious. The deep fried crispy oyster mushrooms were perfectly cooked and we loved the jerk sauce and homemade korean hot sauce. Both burgers were packed full of toppings too and such good value for £8.50. We also got some fries, which were great.
Staff are very friendly and I'll definitely be planning another visit.
