Amazing vegan muffins

The muffins in this place cost a little more, but they’re huge and delicious!

This time I got the vegan chocolate hazelnut muffin and it was just as good as I expected.

It’s a shame there’s not a bit more seating but that can’t be helped - the place is often very busy but it’s ideal for grabbing something to take with you!

Excellent choices, good service, tasty food!

Every wrap/ sandwich can be made vegan, vegan cooked breakfast and so many vegan muffins to choose from. No photos as I ate the food too quickly !

Very filling breakfast

Beanhive is centrally located and offers a great variety of vegan options. We’ve had sandwiches and pastries for breakfast, which were delicious and very filling.

Yummy and big portions

My friends and I stopped here for breakfast, they have lots of vegan options on the menu, I chose the full vegan breakfast and it was absolutely huge! It comes with baked beans, bread, salad, cooked tomato, sweet potato fries, and hash browns. They gave me vegan butter to go with my bread too. The food was nice, nothing overly special but tasty.

The breakfast also has a drink included in the price. I got a vanilla chai latte which was delicious and they draw cute little pictures on your drink which made my day. Inside they also had a wide selection of muffins for vegans. There were no blueberry muffins left when we had finished breakfast otherwise I would have bought one but my friends bought some muffins and I tried a bite, they were very nice and also huge!!

Pros: Big portions so good if you're hungry, Cute drawings on your drink

Beanhive Coffee on Dawson Street Dublin

Beanhive coffee on Dawson street. Seriously, these muffins are huge! Amazing selection. The rasperry and chocolate was lovely, but it will last me days! Had to take the rest home. Pretty nice soy milk mocha too.
They also have vegan sandwiches I believe, but couldn't see the board, but imagine they're pretty good too. Will return to try the savoury options

Cons: A little tight on space for sitting in

Vegan Irish breakfast

Really filling, a bit too much for a breakfast (esp. too many fries)

But was it any good?!!! The idea of Happy Cow is to let others know what’s good and what’s not.

Huge sandwich lots of options

A small quirky cafe with very limited seating but take out options. It was super busy when we went but well organised and quick service. Most the sandwiches can be made vegan by swopping the meat for tofu or hash browns and all can be on a wrap or ciabatta. They are huge and filling and really good. Great lunch option

Grand sandwiches

Pretty great sandwiches. The vegan breakfast is not worth it.
Shame that they charge extra for plant based milks.

Pros: The yum sandwich , Plant based butter

Cons: Extra charge for plant based milks , Poor vegan Irish breakfast , No bathroom

This place cannot be skipped. They have the best vegan sandwiches I have ever tasted. Everything is great. But you probably will wait to have a seat.

Sooo good

Cute little cafe near the park. Any item can be made vegan for no up charge. We had a vegan muffin, the yum (appropriately named), and vegan Mr beanhive with hasbrowns and vegan cheese.

Pros: Location, Choices

Vegan Irish breakfast

Walking to the centre I was hoping to find a place that offers vegan Irish/ English breakfast and just a few seconds later the universe provided :)
Very small place with some outside seating. Large menu with a lot of vegan options (most things can be made vegan). Big portions, the food was fresh but could have been better seasoned, too many sweet potatoes for my liking and it was a bit expensive considering it was just breakfast. We paid over 40€ for 2 people (breakfast coffee milk shake). But I’d go there again to try the ciabattas

Pros: Portion size , Most things can be made vegan

Cons: Price

Vegan breakfast was so-so, amazing muffins and coffee

Got the vegan beehive breakfast and didn't eat most of it because it consisted mainly of sweet potato fries and hash browns (I am not in the mood for fries first thing in the morning) with a little side of sautéed veg and vegan cheese, and some baked beans and toast.
While the breakfast looked huge with many options it did not actually taste that good ; At this point I would have given them three stars, however the soy milk latte was delicious and Chandler was very happy with his huge vegan burrito. And to be fair I think a lot of people would've been happy with the breakfast but it just did not suit me.
They have an amazing selection of vegan muffins that are huge, I would've been much happier had I just stuck to a latte and muffin .
They have bench seating outside and some tables inside but it is a little cramped and stuffy inside.

Had a ciabatta sandwich with the hasbrown option, which was sooo good & super flavorful. The place has tons of options and you can veganize almost anything. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait

Pros: Lots of options, Great flavor, Big portions

Cons: Slow service

Everything’s Vegan

I go here all the time, and it’s without a doubt one of the best places for vegan breakfast/lunch. Literally everything on the menu can be made vegan, and I usually get a ciabatta roll (#11). They do vegan muffins as well which are top notch

Pros: Good food , Good coffee , Everything’s vegan

Cons: None

Can veganise any of their wraps/toasties

Have a wide selection of wraps and ciabattas and all of them can be veganised. Big portions but perhaps a little on the expensive side. Small place so can be a bit of a wait for table.

Lots of vegan options

The food was decent but not great. I substituted tofu for the eggs in the vegetarian breakfast and was charged €1.50 extra (even though their website says you can make any meal vegan for free). And, like most places, they charge extra for non dairy milk.
Portions were huge but service was slow. Customer service was a bit lacking that day too. We spent almost €50 for breakfast (which is outrageous for a coffee shop).
Indoor seating was cramped- it almost felt like we were at a shared table.

Pros: Large portions, Vegan options

Cons: Extra money for vegan substitutes , Cramped space

Great selection of vegan options

We had the vegan breakfast and a “Mr Beanhive” panini; the staff were super helpful and told me that all sandwich options could be made vegan and gluten-free. The panini was gorgeous, swapped out the bacon for tofu and vegan cheese. It was juicy, flavoursome and filling. Great little outdoor seating too.

Probably not worth a wait

This is a popular place during brunch, there's very little seating and service is slowish. It took 10-15 minutes to get a full Irish and 25 to get my mocha.

I probably just need to stop ordering Full dishes (giving an extra star for that), but I wasn't impressed with the full Irish. The sweet potatoes were French fries, the hash brown was light on flavor.

Maybe try one of their sandwiches

Pros: Cute atmosphere, A lot of food

Irish breakfast and sandwiches

I ate here several times during my stay in Dublin. It was very close to where I stayed. The vegan breakfast was good but would have appreciated some sort of egg substitute (afterthought: they probably would have accommodated with a substitution). The yum was a great sandwich.

Cute cafe, adorable foam art!

The vegan Irish breakfast was awesome and it came with a hot drink! I got the spiced chai latte with soy milk. The hot drinks come with adorable foam art on top! I would suggest ordering your drink “extra hot” as it was a little lukewarm by the time we got our lattes. Also there were other vegan items but we just got the breakfasts and drinks. So good! Seating is limited so go early!

Gorgeous

Tons of vegan options, food was gorgeous and the matcha latte was the best I’ve ever had. There was only seating for around 10 people so we had to get our food to takeaway which wasn’t a problem but it would definitely be better if there were more seats.

Pros: Lord of vegan options, Good food, Friendly staff

Cons: Serves meat, Limited seating

Great find for breakfast and lunch

I had the vegan perfect combo ciabatta sandwich and it was amazing! The tofu they use is the light fluffy tofu skin and it’s soooo yummy! Nice coffee and desserts, too. Was affordable, only €15 for a coffee and sandwich, which was plenty of food, very filling!

Only issue we had is that the place was pretty cramped because they only have 6 tables, 3 outside and 3 inside. We had to queue to get a table, the place is clearly very popular. And now we know why. Delish 😋
