I had a shawarma and it was absolutely delicious. The size of the portion was exceeded my expectations and the sauces were perfect. The meal came with a nice cup of water and a friendly conversation with the owner and chef. Highly recommended place!

Besides cooking finger-licking tasty and creative all vegan dishes, they are doing amazing work helping stray animals, as well as fighting against animal cruelty and exploitation. Thanks to Bayt Sara, we could finally taste Jordan national dish-the famous Mansaf-in its vegan version, of course! The food was so good and the atmosphere so welcoming that I ate there most of my nights in Amman. I had the vegan shawarma, Zinger and vegan burger, and all were absolutely delicious. The hot chocolate was amazing as well. The owner was very passionate about the quality of the food and the customer's experience. It was a very warm experience with enjoyable conversation among guests and the owner. It's all vegan. They serve huge portions, and they also care passionately about animals. A number of well fed stray cats hang around nearby because they know they are well taken care of by the people who run the restaurant. My experience there and really improved the quality of my stay to Jordan.

Sara's place was reccomended to me by the AirB&B owner I stayed with my last two days in Amman. Being over eaten by fallafels, pita bread and hummus I was so happy to find a proper vegan place to eat! Sara and her brother welcomed me and treated me like a queen, the food, service, milkshakes and the most important absolutely amazing company and chat about absolutely everything. Planned half an hour lunch was extended to few hours, it was very hard to leave! The Shawarma was to die for! Initially I thought the portion was too big and I was concerned I will not manage (well, fortunately was hungry):) Sara makes everything home made with love which you can definitely taste, she makes her own recipes too. Everything I tried at Sara's was absolutely heavenly delicious, but most importantly, I met her - one of the strongest, most passionate, dedicated and inspirational human being that make this world (and definitely her street in Amman) more colourful:)...I wish we could clone her, world needs more Saras! We landed here on our first night in Jordan and Sara was very kind and helpful. The Tofu zinger wrap sustained us for two whole meals and we wish we had the time to come back and try more dishes! The cafe is quaint and has a tonne of good vibes. All the tips go to the cats (literally)!

Expect a warm welcome and delicious food at Bayt Sara. Sara and her brother are the loveliest people. The first time I visited (I've been there twice in a week!), I immediately felt at home. Sara and her brother are so welcoming and kind. Plus, they make delicious food! I'm a vegetarian from Scotland, so very spoiled with vegan and vegetarian food at home, but this is one of the veggie/ vegan best places I've been to anywhere. The vegan shawarma is sooo good! I loved the fresh guava juice too.

The food is really amazing. We had the shawarma and the 'meat'balls with green beans and oh my god, it was so good! I tried to figure out the herbs and spices they use, as they mix different kitchens (Jordanian, Romanian, Syrian and even some italian I believe). A must go! Delicious vegan spot in Amman - Edit
I visited Bayt Sara a couple of times, and each time their food was SO TASTY! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very sweet and intimate. Sara and her brother are very warm welcoming, and really do care about their customers. Sara does a lot for local community by raising plastic free awareness, protects animal rights and spreading healthy lifestyle.

What makes this place special and unique is the positive energy within the restaurant. The work that Sara is doing for the animals and the local community is amazing.
