Top notch hospitality, delicious meals with a home-cooked flair, and a charming location full of love and light, I can not sing enough praise about this restaurant just off Rainbow street in Amman. Thank you to Sara (the owner) and her brother Samir for their generosity and kindness. My brother and I visited multiple times during our stay in Jordan.

The food is really amazing. We had the shawarma and the 'meat'balls with green beans and oh my god, it was so good! I tried to figure out the herbs and spices they use, as they mix different kitchens (Jordanian, Romanian, Syrian and even some italian I believe). A must go! Sara and her brother are really very kind 🥰

Delicious vegan spot in Amman - Edit
I visited Bayt Sara a couple of times, and each time their food was SO TASTY! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very sweet and intimate. Sara and her brother are very warm welcoming, and really do care about their customers. Sara does a lot for local community by raising plastic free awareness, protects animal rights and spreading healthy lifestyle.

I was so happy to find Bayt Sara. The restaurant is very cute, and the selection is very good. I had the shawarma, and my son had the burger. Yummy! Sara is super nice, and you can tell she really care about animals and raising awareness - she puts a lot of heart into Bayt Sarah (Sara's house). I will be back!

I am so grateful I found this place in Amman. The best vegan food I have tasted and I’m from the UK where we have many vegan restaurants. What makes this place special and unique is the positive energy within the restaurant. The work that Sara is doing for the animals and the local community is amazing. Sara and her brother are so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. It was humbling experience to meet them both!

Such a lovely place and definitely worth a visit. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. They take care of the many many stray cats in the area, feed them and them them to the vet when needed. Would come back anytime to support what you are doing and enjoy your delicious food. By far my best restaurant experience in Amman! Thank you!

Ich bin dann rein und habe eine vegane Gulaschsuppe und den zuckerfreien Schokokuchen gegessen. Beides war sehr lecker uuund Überraschuuuung: die Gerichte waren von BaytSara 🤗
Es gab noch mehr wie Kürbissuppe, vegane Brownies und Milchalternativen...

We stumbled across this place by chance after thinking there wouldn’t be any truly vegan(friendly) places in Jordan besides the usual Falafel and Hummus combo. The owner was very nice and offers an international changing menu including Burgers, Italian, Romanian and Middle Eastern. A rare gem in Jordan. The place is cosy and has a hipster/hippie vibe you wouldn’t expect in Jordan. The food was very good. We had the Shawarma and the cabbage rolls (Mafouf).

This place is home away from home. The vibe of the restaurant is inviting, unpretentious, and makes you feel zen. I have been coming here for more than 3 years, and although there are other up and coming vegan restaurants, Bayt Sara remains my number 1 and only vegan restaurant in Amman that is worth my time and business.

As someone with a plethora of food allergies, I trust her expertise and recipe execution to meet my nutritional needs whether I'm dining in or ordering delivery.
The menu is always being updated; you can sample veganized local staples such as Shawerma, Romanian soups, dips and stews, Italian pasta, Russian salads, and all your favourite Western cuisine items like zinger wraps, burgers, milkshakes and desserts. All of what I used to love as an omnivore is now 100% vegan, tasty, and healthy!
The portions are so large that you have to keep on coming back to try other items. I've held birthday and graduation parties here, and my none vegan friends and family rave about the flavour and portion size!
Bayt Sara has come a long ways since its' inception because Sara has heart and vision coupled with originality and kindness. She's not only a chef! She's a true and tried animal and environmental activist, she hosts and organises events to support both animals and humans. Her kindness is so infectious that all her neighbours up and down the street lookout for the stray cats and dogs.
Quality, Quantity, Personality and Heart make this place home away from home. I wish for Bayt Sara to prosper and to branch out and have another location soon. The vegan community in Amman is very lucky to have a pioneering chef like Sara veganizing local and international favourites.
Ohhh and the vegan mayonnaise fills my mouth with rainbows
If I could I would give this place a golden medal and 10 stars 🌟

We took some vegan sandwiches with us in our trip in Petra and it was amazing as we was daily eating just falafel and salads.Sara helped us with our trip also during our visit in Jordan.
She s taking care from 4 years in Jabal amman of many stray cats so all the tips goes to stray animals .
Big portions and fresh food .Amazing decorations in her restaurant made with love.
