Loved everything - Edit
Highly recommend. Came here with my partner the other day, and everything was amazing. The food is delicious, the cats that hang out around the shop are super friendly, great music playing, the place itself is beautiful and littered with all sorts of cool stuff, art, flyers, stickers, etc. The owners are also super warm and welcoming, and I loved how passionate they are about not just their food, but their activism and staying true to vegan ideals beyond that. Definitely will be coming again, and happy we got the chance to do so.

We had an incredible meal here and loved supporting a local cause for stray cats and helping the local community! The owner/ owners brother was lovely and we had the nicest conversation. He was making the food fresh and it was some truly special food !

Very pleasant establishment, good food and conversation to be had. A lot of your money spent goes towards looking after the many stray cats around Amman, well worth your time. You'll probably see some kitties around!

The best vegan place in Jordan! I wish we found this at the beginning of our trip and not the end. Not only does Sara and her brother provide delicious homemade food and drinks, but they are so invested with their cause for improvement of animal welfare that they have such a huge amount of advice and recommendations of vegan friendly experiences while in Jordan. I'd recommend anyone to take a visit. Thank you so much for a lovely couple of hours 🥰

I can't recommend this place more highly! Lovely vegan food, great staff and service, time of nice drinks like citrus kombucha... And they help feed 168 stay cats in the area.

My family of four ate here on our last day in Jordan. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. The food is delicious and served in generous portions that can be shared. It is with the trip if you are looking for great vegan food and especially if you are tired of eating falafel and hummus.

I have to say wow the portions are big.
We had a Vegan shawarma and Vegan Chicken Zinga. Both came with pickles and homemade mayonnaise. They were both so good and tasted super fresh.
I cant recommend this place enough.

The best vegan food ever - Edit
Me and my friends we went few times at this amazing v restaurant. We have tried almost everything on the menu and is simply delicious. Vegan shawarma , crispy tofu wrap are our favorite. The hospitality from Sara and Sam was so warm. The portions are so Big for the value of the money . They also take care of many stray cats and this should make us suporting them more . Thanks guys for everything

Sara tried to warn us how large the portions were, but we underestimated her. We had the zinger and the shawarma, and that gave us enough leftovers for the bus to Petra for the next day, and breakfast before 22km of hiking in Petra, which was an absolute lifesaver as our hotel's understanding of vegan food left us with some fruit and cucumber. The wraps keep surprisingly well out of the fridge and are packed with protein. The restaurant is very happy to provide take away containers as needed.

Oh my god. First: cats everywhere - dreamy! Second: such good service! It was Sara's brother who worked today and he was so sweet! Third: best wrap I ever had! I tried the shawarma and it was yummy yummy yummy! Fourth: HUGE PORTIONS! They don't joke around when it comes to size! Now I have lunch for tomorrow as well - perfect!

It’s like meeting an old friend! We clicked right away and I was with her at the restaurant for many hours, even managed to meet her whole family
It is a true authentic experience and it’s so lovely to meet fellow Romanians abroad

First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. Its prepared by both Sara and her mother, it's a lovely family business. Second of all, they have over 180 stray cats that they take care of in the neighbourhood and I've seen Sara's father feed them very often. Everyone is always very friendly!

They have a new product as of today (23rd of April 2025): (Broccoli Spread with tomato salad and sourdough bread) which is absolutely delicious!
All of the food is worth it!

We went there twice and really enjoyed the vegan shawarma as well as the bbq wrap and the iced cappuccino was definitely very unique and delicious as well! The cats are super cuddly and sweet and Sami is a great host! We were happy to see there‘s vegan people in Amman and also how much love and effort they put in rescuing the cats and trying to make a difference! Highly recommend coming to this sweet little place when visiting Amman!

Bayt Sara in Amman is an absolutely incredible restaurant run by Sara and her brother Sami. They are fantastic hosts, the vibe of the restaurant is cosy and the food is amazing - a wide variety of unique dishes on offer.

This restaurant is plastic free, entirely vegan, community driven and just straight up delicious!
