Delicious!! (And SPICY! 🥵) - Edit
Bawarchi Biryani is apparently a nationwide franchise with multiple locations. Their menu is mind-bogglingly extensive and several pages long! Tried takeout from them for the first time and we were impressed by the authentic taste and by the staff’s comfort with vegan guidance/ recs. The vegan options are not marked, but the lady who took my call immediately knew how to guide me on what to order vegan off their vegetarian menu. We tried the Kachori (crispy and excellent!), Karivepaku Baby Corn (ooo spicy!! But GOOD!), chole bhature (very good) and an eggplant-based gravy dish, the Guthi Vankaya (excellent!).
Read moreBy the way, the namesake dish, the Biryani, is not vegan - the marinade contains yogurt. The food is on the oily side and a bit greasy, but very satisfying.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Menu not marked for vegan options , A tad greasy/ oily, SPICY! Ask about spice levels for sure!
