Perfect after a long day in Ljub. - Edit
Located on one of the main shopping streets of Ljubljana, Barbarella was a nice surprise. Trendy and vibrant, this bistro has an all vegan menu that’s not particularly original (burgers, pasta’s), but it was exactly what we wanted after a day of discovering this pretty city. The food was great, the service very nice. Don’t forget to check out the hearty but yummy deserts, if you still can.

The Plant Bistro is definitely worth a visit. We had the pumpkin risotto, which was very good and the hazelnut ravioli, which were not exactly our taste but still okay. For dessert we had the Cream cake - really really yummy!! The staff is friendly and fast and the location of the Bistro is also good.

Find dining quality, in a relaxed atmosphere. Food options were amazing. We had the lions made steak and potatoes and the pumpkin risotto followed by the traditional Slovenian vanilla cream cake. We also enjoyed a turmeric latte. We came back for breakfast the next morning and had croissants. One with coffee cream on top. And we also shared the cheese plate, which was delicious. There are many options in this city, and this is certainly one of the best.

All vegan restaurant with creative dishes. The food was super tasty and well presented. We enjoyed our lunch in the center of Ljubljana, sitting outside in the sun. The price was quite good considering the restaurant was right in the city center. Would definitely recommend trying one of their special drinks as we really enjoyed them.

We came to Barbarella on a friday evening, so the city was buzzing. The outside seating is nice, a bit loud though. The staff was super friendly. I liked the gnocchi best, they were very special. The ravioli were a bit bland. Different selection of cakes for dessert.

I went for Lynch time and took 2 starters, a minestrone soup which was simple but well done, and a roested beetroot on "labneh" dill oil, and it was really tasty and delicious, I really loved this dish !

They serve original dishes we've rarely seen in vegan bistros in addition to more common veg burgers. I really recommend their vegan cheese and their version of traditional slovenian cakes!

What a menu! It was so hard to choose! We decided to have a Greek Iced Coffee and a lemonade. Both great. For lunch we had a burger and the plate with cheese, olives and hummus. Both amazing. The portions seem small but i was full after my plate. Ljubljana is very vegan friendly but this restaurant is now definitely in our top 3 of all the restaurants we ever were.

It’s so exciting coming across a full vegan menu. Slovenia is so vegan friendly and this restaurant is amazing. It’s had the roasted cabbage, which was so tasty, fresh and delicious.

Definitely one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! The food was AMAZING and the service thoughtful and professional. We had the chickpea sticks and grilled peaches on creamy feta as a starter and then two lions mane steaks which were SO DELICIOUS! Everything was sooo good. Definitely recommend!!

We had a Reservation because its busy in Ljubljana! A lot of drinks and dishes were sold out. So we chose the Burger and the cheese Plate. After that on the table next to us she told the man there was Quiche (was not in the menue) so he ordered it. I would have liked to have a vegan Quiche too. Suddenly the waitress brought him a Burger before us and he took it. I think the Order system was down because everytime she came with plates and didn't know the table she had to bring . After some time she came with Quiche and a cheese Plate so I saw my chance and took it (and later also the Burger). It was so chaotic! But the food was tasty (portions are pretty small for the prices).

They have decaffeinated coffees with any kind of plant based milk. The sourdough toast with pea pesto and Ricotta is dreamy! Wish I stayed in Ljubljana longer to come back

Super yummy food in a nice bistro with friendly staff - Edit
We loved basically all the dishes we had and ate there 3 times in 2 days! Our favourites were the lion's mane steak, the pickled mushrooms, the chocolate banana cake, the almond passion fruit cake and the chocolate caramel cake.
