Unbelievably good - Edit
Probably the best Banh Mi I’ve had in Vietnam (so far). Had the ‘pork’ one and the special one - both phenomenal. Even my non-vegan friend said they were the best he’s had so far.

Worth the cab ride- so yummy! - Edit
We got a 15 min cab just for these banh mi and we’re not disappointed - so yummy. Little bit of chilli too but I’m sure you could get it removed.

Well worth the 10k per Bahn mi. I ended up having two bahn mi. It was that good! Plus the iced cocoa and cashew milk was perfect for the hot April afternoon 😋

Best vegan banh mi in Hue - Edit
This is worth coming out to, it's also right next to the Tu Dam Pagoda so you can tie it in with that.

There's side stuff too like fries, spring rolls, pancake and mushroom rolls. They even do nice cold drinks.
Honestly, Mays is a wonderful little spot and we wish we'd come here on our first day in Hue so that we could come again every day.

We had the vegan pork belly, we don’t usually go for a fake meat but this was very delicious. There are a range of vegan options and all banh mi are 10k. It is on the smaller side so we got two (still only 20k)

A hidden gem! - Edit
We stumbled on this place and it was the best vegan Banh Mi we have ever had! Very delicious, two wonderfully friendly owners and the food is also very cheap (~20cents per sandwich).

Found this place on google maps. It’s opposite a temple. There’s just a few plastic chairs and sandwiches are made in the food cart outside of the building. Sandwiches were all around 10k dong. We asked for a combination of things as we didn’t know what the options were or what to choose. It was very tasty, bit on the small side so more of a snack
