We came to this place twice, once we arrived early and got the 1st table. A queue formed behind us and the place was packed out with a few people still waiting as soon as it opened.

Both times the food was fantastic. We had an array of guilty pleasure foods, burgers, cheese fries, onion rings, bacon, chicken dippers etc. All of it was delicious and the mayonaise they make especially.

Es de mis restaurantes favoritos de Madrid, me suelo pedir un bocadillo de seitán, está buenísimo y por 5€ te llenas. Se puede también pedir para llevar aunque suele haber sitio. Tienen también postres y batidos, hamburguesas, tapas, etc. Siempre que hemos ido está el mismo camarero, un trato excelente y son rápidos en preparar la comida.

I visited in the beginning of March and it was very busy, which showed it was a popular location. The prices were very good and the food was yummy. Just remember to bring cash as they don’t except card payments.

After several tries, I finally managed to got in, as this place gets very crowdy always and its nearly impossible to take a place. The food is rather bar / cantine quality and do not expect something overstanding. My omni friends and I shared multiple dishes and some of them was very good, but for example the "bocata de calamares" was extremely dry. I also do not understand why all the sauces (ketchup, mustard, vegan mayonaise..) are served in single use envelopes instead of having a big bottle. This way it generates a lot of unnecessary waste. After all, we enjoyed our meal but I doubt if I come back as the food is nothing special.

I love this place and I've come more than a handful of times. The food is good and very cheap (I believe this is one of the cheapest vegan places in the city center). They have some traditional Spanish dishes like calamares, pincho de tortilla, croquetas or pollo al ajillo.
Read moreThe downside is that it gets crowded pretty easily and they don't accept reservations. Either you are there as soon as they open or you will have to wait (specially on the weekends).
Oh and keep in mind they don't accept credit cards, only cash!

Apparently one of the first vegan restaurants in the area, B13 is a fun spot. The atmosphere is very alternative—no credit cards, many tattoos and piercings on staff and attendees, order at the bar. Lively ambiance. The menu is greasy-spoon meets burger joint, it’s not trying to be vegan health food. It is delicious! Be forewarned that it’s always packed. That’s ok, we waited 20 min to get a seat for two, nbd. And the vegan tortilla typically sells out by evening, FYI. Go to B13 for the history, setting, and the food!
