An almost perfect place - Edit
I live down the street and this is our go-to on a night when we want good food but don’t want to cook. It’s always poppin’ and can be loud, but that’s because it’s the best place in town for dinner. Sometimes I get the garlic base as a nice change, and that and the red sauce are good. They use local PMA cheese which melts and is good, though I do get sick of it sometimes. I think the crust is amazing personally! Good drinks—alcoholic and non—and great service. They have a root salad that is also delicious—just ask for no goat cheese. The only things that could make it better (besides being fully vegan) is a set vegan pizza so you’re not paying through the nose on toppings and more cheese options.

It’s a fun place to visit and I’m glad you can build your own pizza. It would be nice if they had a few more options like an appetizer. The pizza crust wasn’t that good, just ok. They no longer have the vegan pepperoni. Wouldn’t be my first choice for pizza but otherwise it is a nice place.

Pizza took a very long time to come out on a busy weekend night, but it was well worth the wait. Wood fired, melty vegan cheeze, and fresh vegetables. Couldn’t ask for more. Really fun atmosphere also with a huge drink menu.

Wonderful to have a vegan option in Manlius!! - Edit
I went to A.W. Wander with friends after our weekly Wednesday night bike ride. I'm used to not having any options at the places we pick, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I saw that A.W. Wander had VEGAN options clearly labeled on the menu!!
Read moreI ordered the Build-Your-Own pizza, and got the PMA Foods Notzerella and Pepperoni plus Roasted Red Peppers as my toppings. It was delicious!! It is a smidge on the pricey side (my single-serve pizza came to $21), but I felt that it was worth it since the ingredients were sources locally and were such high-quality.
My friends mentioned how nice it was that I could "finally" share a meal with them after our ride.
The staff is very friendly and is knowledgeable about vegan diets and can answer questions with ease. I will definitely be back!!
