Russia is wonderful - Edit
I visited Russia a few times and finding vegan food was a bit of a challenge. I found myself eating what is called “poor man’s caviar” from jars. It’s not what you think. Avocado Cafe was an oasis in the desert.

I was so happy to discover this place in my express 2 hour tour of Moscow! The food is really excellent, I had the warm borsch and the energy mix, along with a beet and apple juice. Everything super tasty. I was lucky to have a waiter who understood English perfectly.

The food was really tasty, (i ordered borscht, fried ravioli stuffed with spinach).
Read moreBut the waitress made us wait and forgot things we ordered, didn’t seem to care.
Also you only able to use wifi if you have russian tel number witch you can call from. Pain in the ass for tourists :/

The food was really delicious. I ordered Borscht and a California Burger - both of them were delicious.

I'm only a beginner in Russian and I prefer to speak in English before I feel comfortable enough in Russian, but the waitress who came to me was startled that I started talking in English, and she immediately took away my menu and left me alone for 15 minutes. She was still serving other people, but didn't even look at me once. I felt really bad.
Then another waitress came and gave me the menu, but no-one apologised for leaving me alone 15 minutes. Ordering food was okay (warning, burgers automatically come with non-vegan cheese so you have to specifically say you want vegan cheese) but again, everyone was ignoring me and when I wanted the bill, I had to eventually call the waitress to ask for it.
I don't know, I would usually eat at such a place every day because it's really delicious, but since I'm such a burden to them for speaking in English, I wouldn't go and annoy them or upset myself again. It's a lose-lose situation here and I feel upset that it's this way.

I’ve come here 6 times now and love everything I’ve ordered. Tofu wrap is great, avocado burger is delish, they have a great selections desserts, juices etc.

One of the oldest - Edit
I think it's one of the oldest veg places in Moscow, offering a great choise of vegan meals, even raw ones. The burgers are not the best in town, but there are many other options like pasta, dumplings, salads and desserts.

They made a coffee with regular cow milk instead of coconut.I'm 100% sure.I haven't drunk cow milk for a long time.Сделали кофе на коровьем молоке,вместо кокосов-рисового.Не поменяли кофе и оплатить тоже пришлось.Свою ошибку не признали.Я молоко не пью очень давно и запах сразу учуяла.

I’ve been to Avocado countless times now and every time I’m left very satisfied with my experience. The food is tasty, there’s a large menu with lots of vegan and raw options, the staff are attentive and friendly and speak good English too. Would recommend to anyone looking for good veg/vegan food in Moscow.

This is a good find, we came back twice. The have a good selection of wraps and burgers. The menu is available in English. Oh in case it is a deal breaker, they only have non-alcoholic beer! And great desserts!!

It is a pretty small comfortable place. There are not many people, so it's quiet and cozy. The Cafe is also close to the metro station.
Read moreThe food is mostly vegetarian but there are also vegan options, which makes it great. The menu is quite big as well. So far I really enjoyed the quality of it; it is my most favoutite place.
Stuff seems to be depressed though..
