Great lunch spot! - Edit
We went to Avocadisimo three times for lunch, and we ate so well - wish they opened in the evening, too!
Read moreGreat food, excellent value, and very friendly service. Each day, they had specials in addition to the already varied menu - we ate Thai noodles, wrinkled potatoes with green mojo sauce, hummus with bread, lasagna, nachos with guacamole, avocado cake and sacher cake.
Highly recommended and very responsive to messages in Instagram.
Pros: Varied menu, Quality food, Good value
Cons: Not open in the evening

Great all vegan restaurant - Edit
We visited Avocadismo three times during our stay - and would have returned again if they had not been shutting for a break!
Read moreThe food was great - tapas style a few bigger dishes - the menu changed every day so there was plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed the Wrinkled Potatoes with Homemade Mojo, the lasagne, and a Thai peanut noodle dish. The service was really chilled and friendly and the place has a great ambience.
My only complaint is that they only opened in the daytime! Options around this area are a bit sparse, particularly Sunday to Wednesday, and it would have been great to have dinner as well as lunch here.
Pros: Great Food, Friendly Service, Nice ambience
Cons: Limited opening hours!

Really good food - Edit
At first we didn't see the store, but happy we found it. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We can recommend the guacamole starter and the burrito as well as the avocado cake. The opening times from happy cow are not correct. Check on Google.

Very handy option - Edit
Avocadísimo is a laid-back, unpretentious place right in front of Las Canteras beach. It's by the part called La Cicer, where surfers go do their thing. It's therefore very suitable to just drop by after surfing, walking or simply chilling in the area.
Read moreI wouldn't say this is quite a tapas bar, as they claim to be, since certain dishes are more mid-sized. On my first visit I had the items pictured below, aromatic couscous with shittake mushroom and asparagus, as well as their trademark avocado cake. No complaints. I exchanged a few words with the owner, who explained they use local avocados, either from contacts in the area or from the Vegueta market. It felt good knowing that such a water-intensive product at least won't need to be transported from the other side of the globe.
I paid Avocadísimo another visit, together with my (omnivore) parents, and went for the toast with mayonnaise and veggies and the exotic tempeh salad with curry quinoa. We weren't blown away but we all enjoyed our dishes. If I get round to visiting them again I may order the pasta of the day, after all this place seems to be Italian-owned. It's funny that Berro Bistrot opened four months ago, just a 2-minute walk, as it is also veggie and run by Italians. Unfortunately smoking on the terrace is allowed at Avocadísimo, whereas at Berro it is not. Time for the former establishment to up the ante in this regard, then.

Amazing!! - Edit
It was the perfect vegan cute place! All the plates were amazing, I had the burger with tempeh and the pasta with avocado pesto. We also tried the avocado cake which was awesome! The portions were a bit small but other than that I would definitely recommend!

Awesome Avocadisimo - Edit
Wow what can I say...an amazing place..the food is gorgeous. Ordered wrinkle potatoes with mojo and tortilla chips with guacamole to start with homemade lemonade. Mains was gnocchi with yellow pepper, cashew and almond basil pesto with tomatoes, then avocado cake. Truly amazing food, full of flavour, spectacular colours with lots of green obviously as they use 10kgs of avocado a week. And such good value, what a vegan taste sensation. One to visit when in Las Palmas.

Finally a fully vegan place on the west side of Las Canteras! - Edit
Now if you are by Auditorio you don't have to run 5km to Vegetopia for excellent vegan food. You have it just there. Nice spot with plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Cool music in the background.
Read moreThe service was very friendly and professional. The food I ordered was amazing. The salat have indegrience that I couldn't get on the island. The guys import it (its not rise, for those that think it is). So the salat was awesome with some toast on the side. Then for the desert I got amazing avocado cake with good coffee. The price was adequate to the quality and service. I look forward to get back and try out the other things. From my first visit I highly reccomend that place!
Once again, its great to have two excellent vegan places on the opposite extremes of Las Canteras!
Pros: Fully vegan place in Las Palmas!, Great taste and excellent service, Nicely placed with plenty of seating
Cons: None so far

Sooo good - Edit
Food was really good, we had the potatoes with avo mojo and the mojo was outstanding! We had a sandwich with grilled tofu and vegetables as well and it was really divine ☺️ rounded it up with a soy cappuccino and this “viral” avocado cake and it did not disappoint, very fresh and delicious ❤️

A must if you're visiting Las Palmas. Food is super fresh healthy and tasty. The papas with avo mojo were something really mindblowing, even for locals who have been esting papas con mojo all their lives. I wouldn't miss this place if I were you

Totally Vegan menu and awesome - Edit
Avocadisimo went totally vegan over a year ago. I love the re-entry bowl. The menu is great and the food is so yum. Highly recommend. I come here often. I reported the change to plant-based to Happy Cow so just waiting for them to update the listing to totally vegan now. Enjoy!

Fully vegan cafe - Edit
Great to have somewhere fully vegan with a lot of options. One of the wraps was amazing and the other was okay! Service was fine but not out of this world. Would visit again as there is not much choice for vegans on the island.

... I am confused, because you mention it is fully vegan, and from the menu linked (to the right) it clearly states that it is neither fully vegan, nor fully vegetarian (it has jamon, atun (bacon, tuna) etc.)? I have tried to update this, but nothing happened.

Perfect lunch retreat - Edit
This place has become my regular haunt here, because the food is not only delicious but also showcases a creative and flavorful approach to plant-based cuisine. The standout for me has been the perfectly ripe and luscious avocados, adding a delightful touch to every dish. A must-try for anyone in the area!

The best vegan experience for lunch in Las Palmos. - Edit
We had all 5 starters for lunch. All wow what an experience. All the dishes were very unusual looking except for the Wrinkled Potatoes. All five dishes delicious. And so well presented. Excellent service and value for money. Highly recommended. #Veganuary

Avocadisimo Experience: Great Flavors, Small Portions, and Honest Service - Edit
I recently dined at Avocadisimo, a vegan restaurant known for its unique culinary approach. While the overall experience had its highlights, there were a few aspects that left me wanting more.
Read moreFirstly, the portion sizes of the main courses were noticeably small, (except pasta that my wife had) especially considering the price point. The servings felt more akin to side dishes rather than fulfilling mains. This was a bit disappointing, as I expected more substantial offerings for the cost. Interestingly, this was acknowledged by our server, who mentioned, “I know that the portions are not fulfilling.”
Additionally, some of the menu items were predominantly salad-like, leaning heavily towards cold food options. While this might appeal to some, a greater variety in the warmth and style of the dishes would have been appreciated.
On a positive note, the unfiltered beer, with a name that intriguingly included the word “sin”, was a delightful surprise. It was the cheapest option available and yet it stood out for its exceptional taste and quality.
I also noticed other customers enjoying wraps that looked quite appetizing and much bigger in size than my main course portion.
In conclusion, while Avocadisimo excels in certain areas like its unique drink options, there's room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and the variety of warmer, more substantial dishes. I look forward to seeing how this restaurant evolves and adapts to these considerations. #Veganuary

Pros: Friendly service , Great beer, Appealing wrap options
Cons: Small portion sizes
TheBigBadMouse
Apparently Avocadissimo is neither fully vegan, nor vegetarian any longer. There is a menu (to the right) which lists pollo and tuna, clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options, but certainly not a fully vegetarian place.
