Dishes and drinks are 99% made in house, including the popular eggs Benedict and sandwiches such as the "Caprese" with mozzarella, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes, "Classic" with ham, cheese and tomatoes and "Sriracha" with cheese and sriracha. Offers two different cheesecakes (oreo or strawberry) and other baked goods like brownies, cinnamon rolls and cardamom knots. Open Mon 10:00-16:00, Thu-Fri 10:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-15:30. Kitchen closes at 3:30pm on weekdays and at 3pm on weekends.

Richtig guter Laden! Die Sandwiches waren sehr lecker und die veganen Eier Benedict waren wirklich eine Offenbarung. Wir mussten uns direkt eine zweite Portion bestellen. Auf Empfehlung des sympathischen Mitarbeiters haben wir dann noch den Cheesecake gegessen, der ebenfalls ultra lecker war.

We had the eggs beneddict and the caprese bikini, a cocoa drink and the chai latte. The food was to die for, the drinks were OK. I'm still wondering how they manage to create such flavors and textures to make them ressemble real eggs so much. Crazy! If you're in Poble Sec you must try their star dish!
They also have an art exposition in the room next to the dining area, so they show support for local artists. It's a great project.

Never had such a tasty all vegan breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and a strawberry lemonade. Both were tremendous. Friends of mine had the grilled toasts, which were fantastic too. Also the cinnamon roll and the cheesecake are otherworldly. I need this café in my hometown now!

There is actual liquid coming out when cutting it and the taste was so close to the original, I wouldnt have believed this to be vegan! The avocado cream was super tasty as well and this is one of the very few places that offer something like vegan deli slices on their sandwiches.
The portion size was a little small for md though, but getting a dessert definetely filled me up.
The strawberry cheesecake had a great consistency and wasnt too sweet.
A must visit for a vegan in Barcelona!

I have been vegan for the past 10 years - I have travelled the world and tasted amazing food throughout this years BUT NOTHING like the vegan eggs I tried at Asante. The cafe is small and cozy and offers a few options to eat - we got the mozzarella tost and the vegan eggs Benedict and we were in such a shock when we tried them that we actually had to ask the chef if they are really vegan - apologies for that😄Dont miss it if you are in Barcelona!!!
