Offers two different cheesecakes (oreo or strawberry) and other baked goods like brownies, cinnamon rolls and cardamom knots. Open Mon 10:00-16:00, Thu-Fri 10:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-15:30. Kitchen closes at 3:30pm on weekdays and at 3pm on weekends.

Asante just goes to show that you don’t need a big menu when what you offer is done so well. We tried the shakshuka, eggs Benedict, and one of the focaccias. Everything was super good. I hadn’t had shakshuka since going vegan, and being able to enjoy those flavours again was just amazing. The lemonade was super refreshing too, and the coffee was good!
Read moreIt’s a small, cosy place and, for being in central Barcelona, it just feels a bit more “family run”, I don’t know if it is, but they give off that vibe. Don’t go here expecting fast service or a big, commercialised menu. Go expecting something simple, thoughtful, and well done.

I've been wanting to go there for a long time but never had the occasion until now. I was really keen to see what the fuss was all about and I can confirm these famous vegan eggs are as tasty as visually satisfying... Very impressive!! I would go regularly if I lived nearby, it's that good.
Read moreI didn't see anywhere online (on their menu or from reviews) if they offered gluten-free options so hopefully our experience is helpful to others: their bread (a fluffy focaccia style) is not gluten-free, although they can replace it with a gf version... as long as they have any left in stock (we got lucky). Their desserts are not gluten-free.
They are very popular so it's a good idea to reserve a table if you don't want to queue outside (especially if you're more than 2 people). The place is rather small so there are not a lot of tables available.

Stopped in for brunch; more like lunch (it was nearly 13:00, but who's watching). Very limited seating inside, had to wait 15 min for a table. Menu is also very limiting; hence my 4 stars. I've had vegan brunch at many places throughout the world and this menu had the least to offer.

Overall cool vibe, great location, and food, just don't come expecting a lot of choices on the menu.

Impeccable food. The classic benny had me making inappropriate noises, and will try the maghreb version tomorrow. Had both the strawberry and peach cheesecakes and both incredible. Super lovely staff, INCREDIBLE food - never had such good vegan eggs. Absolutely stunning and the fluffiest bread, focaccia and cinnamon roll. It's also the best vegan Spanish style cheesecake we've ever tried - my partner is Spanish and not vegan and we always struggle to find one that ticks all the boxes - the strawberry one did that and more!! Went for brunch on a Sunday. Was very busy, but they let us get take out coffees while we waited, then when we wandered back, they were holding a table for us. Had the eggs Benedict, a focaccia dish, and a cinnamon bun and all were fantastic. And even when run iff their feet, the staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back.

Sin duda mejor todavía de lo esperado, y eso que con tanto comentario iba con grandes expectativas. Hemos probado los classic y los magrebí, absolutamente increíbles, no hemos probado nada igual y dudo que lo hagamos. Estábamos de paso por Barcelona y acabamos yendo 3 veces, la Focaccia espectacular, nosotros probamos la trufada, de postre la cheesecake con mejor textura por muchísima diferencia, de ahí los premios. Además el Roll de canela está buenísimo y también probamos el Brioche de coco derretido con caramelo. Si eres amante del café también encontrarás aquí un sitio muy especial. En cuanto al resto de bebidos, nos quedamos con ganas de probar los batidos pero probamos distintos iced teas y todos espectaculares. El sitio tiene buena música, ellos son muy agradables, el servicio es muy rápido y a pesar de tener pocas mesas lo gestionan muy bien.
