Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere - Edit
I ate here as the only vegan in a group of four. There were two options, the vegetable curry, or the vegetarian gado gado specifically without egg! I had the gado gado and it was absolutely delicious, it was a serving of rice with broccoli, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, some spinach and tofu all covered in a wonderful peanuty sauce. The chips are cooked in sunflower oil, so I had some chips too. It was a very pretty restaurant with lots of watercolour paintings of dogs and mosaic tiles all over the walls. The location is fabulous, it’s a minute or two from the centre. Will definitely be returning.

Good veg options - Edit
Aquasul is a nice restaurant in the center of Tavira. Although its customers are mainly tourists, the quality is decent and the menu is full of interesting options, including many vegetarian and vegan ones. For instance, the bean burger is really nice and it's accompanied by some tasty cus cus. It's good place for kids as well, for example you can ask for the spaghetti with tomatoes (half portion).
