What a great spot. We arrived and The Omen was playing on the screen. It is one of my favorite movies. Next, they had a beer called Helles, which gave me a chuckle since I used to live on Helles Street. The food was so good. Those Smashed Potatoes are incredible. They were out of the banana blossom tacos so I will have to go back and try them another time. I cannot wait.

I was nearly put off by some terrible reviews on Tripadvisor, but the reviews on Happy Core were much better, so we risked it! And glad we did as the food was good. A nice range of dishes and small plates- we had the guacamole, elote ribs, blackened tofu tacos(really good), chik’n tacos and refried bean tacos. Nice level of spice, all seemed freshly prepared, portions are quite small, so make sure you order enough! Beers are good too.

Popped in to try the Mexican offerings as quite few and far between in terms of vegan stuff in Scotland. Menu 100% vegan, really good selection of dishes to mix and match. Black bean tacos particularly good. Nice pub feel and friendly staff!

Popped in here for food before a gig, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, so many incredible flavours coming together to make great food. We had the tofu asada, Oaxacan chicken tacos, smashed potatoes, chilaquiles, and a side of guac.

Wow! This place is incredible! I had the ch**en and black tofu tacos. The ch**en had strong bold flavours-delicious comfort food, the tofu taco was spicy and hot with fresh herb flavours and more. I can't wait to go back to try their less 'meaty' options; I suspect every option is as tasty and good! I feel so privileged to get to eat such fantastic Mexican style food that is 100% vegan delicious.
Read more*I returned on a Tuesday to discover that taco Tuesday's sadly no longer exist (though it's hard to fault for this tasty at any price). A bigger issue this time was the venue - 3 stars. It gets very busy at peak time and my only option of eating place was perched at the end of the bar - right in the smell line of the room for toilets, which has a broken door. The venue really needs some vital repairs.

There were a few of us so we ordered loads of different dishes, all really flavourful and fresh. Standouts for me were the pineapple tacos and the smashed potatoes. Watch out for the table sauce! 🔥🔥🔥
