Had the taquitos, smashed potatoes and the three tacos.
They were all delicious!
Warning, the potato portion was huge! But super tasty!
Also dog friendly. The only problem is if you don't get the big table, it was a bit of a squeeze for our group sitting around the small tables.

"The 78 has been a longstanding favorite, and I was disappointed when they ceased serving food. However, their introduction of a vegan Mexican pop-up from the capital has been a delightful surprise. Top meal in Glasgow - Edit
Sooo happy we made it here. Tried the Spicy Margarita and one of the local beers. Antojitos pop up was top notch! Still dreaming of the banana blossom tacos. 10/10 would eat them every day if i could. Also enjoyed the empanadas, jackfruit tacos, and chilaquiles. Would recommend!

A nice and chilled place and the staff were really helpful. I got a Sunday roast and haggis fritters, and they both were so good. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed 😋 🌱💚

Read moreWill stop serving food at the end of March 2023. Good selection of drinks. Had some very undercooked cauliflower wings. The cream of tomato soup was very spicy which it hadn't pre-warned anywhere! Mac and cheese and tofu burger were good.

The menu isn’t that special whatsoever, but it does offer a range of what I would call comfort food. Or pub food. The taste was good, and you get a decent amount of food for the price. But that’s about it. It’s not great, it alright.

We loved the food we got from here, good selection from the menu and daily specials as well. We got a few things to share and it was all super tasty, the seitan burger was my fav! To top of all off we had some amazing smores cake, which left us feeling pretty burst but it was tasty so hey ho 😅 would love to come back and try some more stuff from the menu.

Read moreWe had padron peppers and mac bites for sides. Cheeseburger (incredible) and mac and cheese with garlic bread for mains. Disappointed with the portion of the mac and cheese tho! Felt like i could eat 2x the amount provided and for almost £12 wouldve expected more. We also got 2x smores cake slices which were great.

Another Excellent Meal last night Excellent Service, nice chilled atmosphere with a wee Jazzy Jam nice way to spend a Sunday evening Five Stars. Visited the other week, food excellent, service good. One of the old ones slipped into Glasgow with Tree Beard. New Review Visited the other evening with no reservations, the staff managed to fit us in , no mean feat! The Food, Service, atmosphere and Staff were all Excellent. Glad we chose 78 at the last minute wise choice lovely evening. Looking forward to my next visit. ☯️☮️🤙🏻

We went here for lunch on our Glasgow trip and enjoyed it a lot. We came with 4 adults and a toddler and everyone was happy with their meals. Staff were super friendly, the food was yum too!

This place used to packed at weekends but was really quiet today...perhaps people aren't impressed with expensive dishes with not much food? I ordered the 'tacos with champignons'...was expecting something hot and flavoursome but got 3 cold, stale tacos filled mostly with iceberg lettuce and onion, with a few button mushrooms and a squirt of ranch dressing. Not good for £13 - left hungry! Maybe some items are better (based on other reviews) but this really shouldn't be on the menu - very disappointing.
