Perfectly pleasant drink - no vegan food - Edit
In the middle of a long walk between temples and along the philosopher's path, we really needed a break. This was a great spot to have a drink and a sit down. There are a couple of dog friendly tables downstairs (the 'bull' in the title refers to bulldogs), and more seating upstairs with a lovely view of the cherry blossom and water.

We had a cafe latte and a matcha latte, both with oat milk. They were served to us with a little oat milk card, so we were not in doubt about their vegan credentials. The coffee was quite strong and very enjoyable. The matcha was lovely - less sweet than in other places I've tried it, but served with sugar so I could sweeten it as I wished.
The drinks were really nice but there were no vegan food options (and lots of non-vegan ones), so three stars feels reasonable.
