poor hygiene and taste

We had three different kinds of mock meat or vegan something. Everything tasted pretty much the same (like spicy salt sticks). We paid 60.000 for two dishes (less than 3 Dollars). Plates and tables seemed not very clean. A cat jumped on the table in order to get something of our meal and the staff made a joke out of placing the cat on my shoulders from behind twice :(

Pros: cheap

Cons: poor taste, not a very clean place

really good selection, all yummy veggies

The buffet was great. Everything is vegetarian, I think all is vegan? I'm not 100% sure, but I got all greens and eggplant so life is great! There are a lot of mock meat choices, but there were still a ton of simple vegetable options. I also got a small bowl of their tofu curry. All totaled to 30k VND, just over 1 USD. It was delicious and well worth it. One person spoke English and helped me communicate, the entire restaurant was full when I went on a weekday around 11 am. Wish I wasn't leaving, I would go back a lot more.

good food

I liked the com chay, very typical Vietnamese cuisine. Best at noon, when food is still fresh.

Excellent vegan eatery

This place was really busy with local diners and you can totally see why: it's yum! Lots and lots of things to choose from - loads of different mock meats, but also tons of different veg dishes, and not all fried, either! Fresh spring rolls on offer (though not the case every day, I don't think) and you get free soup (which was also v.tasty) with your meal. Incredibly good value - all 4 of my cervine stomachs are full to bursting and I now need to go and have a lie down. DEEEEEE-LISH!

Pros: Tasty, Loads of options, Amazingly good value

Good option in Dalat!

We arrived an hour before closing time and ordered items from the buffet. The food was good but very heavy on mock meats. The chilli was great!

Good

Nice staff, one spoke english, clean tables, had mock meat, mock fish, vegetables and soup, all good.
We thought the Hoa Sen the evening before was tastier, bit more flavored and spicier (but more expensive).

Try avoiding going to the restrooms

Cheap and Cheerful

This place is very popular with the locals and both times we ate here there was a good crowd.
They offer a variety of soups and pho, as well as some mock meats and other dishes.
Everything we tasted was good, although the standard curry from the big pot was a little bland. The mock fish was especially delicious.
It is a very cheap eatery and good value for money, with a plate full of food usually costing around 25k to 30k vnd.
Not a lot of English is spoken but that wasn't really a problem.
There is also alcohol, shakes and smoothies available at reasonable prices.
The one drawback at night, is the very loud music coming from the bar across the road, but the locals don't seem to notice.
Overall, well worth a visit.

Pros: friendly, helpful staff, very cheap, plenty of room

Cons: loud music from bar across the street

Helpful staff, lots of locals

We had fried and fresh springrolls, rice, vegetable soup, Tofu with tomato, some vegetables and a barbecue style soya sauce. Everything was tasty. Even some buddist monks had their dinner here.

Hearty cheap food, usual eatery style

This is a no-frills, locals vegetarian eatery. The food was good, a few options including rice and buffet veg/tofus (a lot of mock meats), noodle soups, potato soups etc. No yoghurt around as stated before, though maybe just not available in the evening.

We ate a curry soup, one with a baguette and one with a generous plate of rice (VND 45000 total).

Staff were super friendly, and very helpful. They spoke a little English, there is no English menu, but it's not a problem because you can point at what you want to eat and they'll serve it up.

The neighbouring club opposite had a very loud DJ with some heavy beats going on in the eatery, which made a strange atmosphere!

Pros: Friendly staff, Cheap food

Cons: No English menu
