Indian vegetarian restaurant offering vegan and adaptable choices such as vegetable pakora, tawa roti, aloo jeera, mixed vegetable sabji, dal tadka and more. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-11:00pm.
I think it was almost 11pm when I went there, the owner managed to cook for takeaway. I forgot to take photos but I had a roti and mushroom meal, was worth it!
The food tastes very authentic and was very tasty. I cooked Aloo Jeera potatoes at home, but my version was not as good. I liked that they used fresh onions (which taste like onions) and the same goes for the cucumbers (very flavorful ones). For me, the heat level was optimal.
The lentil soup was amazing in taste and had a very good consistency. It is clear that it took a long time to cook it. This suggests to me that they know what they’re doing. The topping for the soup was very well done.
The veggies with tofu were tasty, and I even noticed the chickpea flour they used for the coating. The seasoning was salty enough not to overpower the vegetables’ taste: the cauliflower was very good (the supplier either makes it organic or gives it more time to grow), and the tofu pieces were quite different from those we get here at the hotel. I’m not sure if it was silken tofu or a type of firm-silken tofu, but it was very tasty.
The bread was excellent and complemented the soup well. Overall, it’s a very authentic place to enjoy Indian food with a passionate cook who knows how to use spices effectively.
