They make food with good quality ingredients, creating elaborate experiences. They also have some delicious finger food options after a day at the Carcavelos beach.

Since they transitioned the restaurant to full vegan (the owners are vegan), they are entering Lisbon's top group of the best vegan restaurants.
I recommend it.

We had an awesome evening at Alma Veg! The food was truly incredible. Beautiful flavours served up in colourful and original dishes, full of goodness but tasting of decadence! We had superb polenta chips with an zingy homemade chilli mayo followed by tomato mince stuffed roasted aubergine with an epic homemade sweetcorn cream and homemade fish sticks with sesame and wasabi rice, Russian salad and fries… so good! Delicious homemade carrot cake and an intense chocolate pot for our pudding washed down with beautiful orange, mango, beet and ginger fresh handcrafted juices made the perfect end to a perfect meal. The guys who run the place are super friendly, the perfect hosts and the ethos behind the restaurant was clearly putting animal welfare and kind eating at its core and their food is the ultimate showcase of how incredible well cooked vegan food can taste. We were pleased to find a fully vegan establishment near to the B&B I was staying in, and even more pleased after having had a lunch there. The food and the service were both top notch. So many good things to choose on their menu, it's too bad I didn't have enough time to come back for a second time!

Great Portuguese inspired dishes, not just burgers. The owner was super friendly and supportive. He explained the menu and which vegetarian option can also be offered as a vegan option.
