Great food, vegan labeled - Edit
The menu features an indicator for vegan dishes (a number, just like those for allergens like sesame or egg). The four vegetarian dishes are all vegan - except the firs tone, which usually features a cream cheese dip. The dip comes separate and can easily be replaced by hummus.
Read moreBoth that dish (grilled vegetable platter) and the cauliflower dish were really good. The starters (we had baba ganoush and ful) were great, too, but a bit too large - we were not able to finish our main dishes after eating the starters. We'd skip the next time.
The service was a mixed experience, with one member of the staff being super nice and another one coming across almost rude.
Still, definitely a recommendation, especially since the food is really good and pretty unique.

It is I, haver of opinions, queen of hottakes, empress of weird reviews. I step down from my ivory tower to tell you that the food at Al Howara is certainly good. I would especially recommend the vegan starters. The vegan options are clearly labeled as soon as you find out that being vegan is an allergen (13). The prices may be a bit high, but for this you get an enjoyable atmosphere, very friendly service and good food.
