Tasty but staff sucks - Edit
Found this place on TikTok boasting about the vegan options they had. Yo-chi Newtown is always so busy so thought would give it a shot. Don’t get me wrong the mango soft serve was delicious and the topping were much more what you would find at a bubble tea place then just fruit. But the staff was [censored]. Nobody was behind the desk even though there were customers. Then when the staff member appeared they were talking on their mobile. Then when we asked what the vegan options were they sounded very unsure so we went with the only ones that were labeled as dairy free (mango and acaii). They also didn’t have cups anywhere for us and she had to go out back to find more. Again she couldn’t clarify which toppings were vegan so I went with the safe bet of sour patch kids, mochi and Oreo dust. Could have been such a great experience if the staff was more professional and knew their stuff.
