Oasis

Beautifully quiet spot taking you out of the bustle of the city. We opted to sit outside in the delightful courtyard as couldn’t be bothered with taking my shoes off to eat indoors. The indoors did look gorgeous though.

A few vegan options out of a large veggie menu. We both had the soup of the day which on Sunday was vegetable soup. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. I had an apple juice and B had grapefruit juice, lovely.

Really liked it here but the outside chairs tend to tip your body back and it was uncomfortable to try to sit forward but that aside I’d eat here again.

Very rude service, mediocre food

Went today and ordered salad with tofu (vegan), hummus bowl (vegan) and caesar salad (vegetarian). The waitress did not write our order down. When the food arrived (after almost an hour although we were almost only customers) there was no hummus bowl but a feta salad. I said we didn't order Feta salad but a hummus bowl. No apologies was made and she started to argue I specifically ordered the feta salad. I said fine, cause I didn't want to argue, she seemed a bit aggressive. I did say that I wouldn't order a feta salad as a vegan. Well even the tofu salad we ordered wasn't tofu but paneer cheese. I did not say anything about it cause the waitress was so rude and a bit scary to be honest, but after a few minutes she brought the tofu, but no apologies. Food was nothing special. I have never experienced such rude and aggresive service, ironically it was in a yoga ashram! I was very dissapointed as the interior of the restaurant was very nice and cozy.

Cons: Service was rude, Service was slow

Peaceful place

The restaurant itself was very pretty and peaceful. The food was nice, but nothing out of this world.

Beautiful decor and tasty food

I was immediately struck by how nice and cosy this place was. The food was delicious.
I was the first in but I noticed others removing their shoes so might be worth noting

Keep calm and enjoy the food

The restaurant gave me a south-east asian vibe as I entered, but majority of the dishes are not typically Asian.

The lights are perfectly dimmed and music level just great. Interior is a mix of wood, stone and and Asian figurines.

My dish reminded me of something you could order in Sweden. It looked plain and boring, but it tasted better than its look. With my dish I went for a green smoothie which was very nice.

Service was quick and easy-going.

Pros: Great service , Relaxed environment , Price-worthy

A haven in Vilnius

Having a meal at Agni Food was a special experience and I am so glad that we went there on our last day in Vilnius! The restaurant is part of an ashram and it is decorated accordingly. It is simply beautiful and the atmosphere is very calm. At some tables you sit on cushions on the floor, so keep that in mind if you have problems with your back.

Vegan dishes are clearly marked on the menu and there are several choices. My husband had the croquets with potatoes while I had the tofu stew. Both dishes were delicious because they were so fresh. Even the side salad was delicious!

We were there quite early and were happy to get a table, but after that the restaurant was full, as it seems to be a popular lunch spot. It is quite small, so it might be best to reserve a table.
